One-dimensional two-component Bose gas and the algebraic Bethe ansatz

Abstract

We apply the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz to a model of one-dimensional two-component Bose gas with delta-function repulsive interaction. Using a lattice approximation of the L-operator we find Bethe vectors of the model in the continuous limit. We also obtain a series representation for the monodromy matrix of the model in terms of Bose fields. This representation allows us to study an asymptotic expansion of the monodromy matrix over the spectral parameter.

Form factors of local operators in a one-dimensional two-component Bose gas

Stanislav Zdislavovich Pakuliak, E. Ragoucy, N A Slavnov

We consider a one-dimensional model of a two-component Bose gas and study form factors of local operators in this model. For this aim, we use an approach based on the algebraic Bethe ansatz. We show that the form factors under consideration can be reduced to those of the monodromy matrix entries in a generalized GL (3)-invariant model. In this way we derive determinant representations for the form factors of local operators.

Continuous Matrix Product Ansatz for the One-Dimensional Bose Gas with Point Interaction

Isao Maruyama, Hosho Katsura

We study a matrix product representation of the Bethe ansatz state for the Lieb-Linger model describing the one-dimensional Bose gas with delta-function interaction. We first construct eigenstates of the discretized model in the form of matrix product states using the algebraic Bethe ansatz. Continuous matrix product states are then exactly obtained in the continuum limit with a finite number of particles. The factorizing $F$-matrices in the lattice model are indispensable for the continuous matrix product states and lead to a marked reduction from the original bosonic system with infinite degrees of freedom to the five-vertex model.

The problem of calculating correlation functions is considered for the one-dimensional Bose gas with a delta-function repulsive interaction between particles. The method of calculation is based on the algebraic Bethe ansatz.

Thermodynamics of the one-dimensional multicomponent Fermi gas with a delta -function interaction

P. Schlottmann

The author considers a gas of fermions with parabolic dispersion and N spin-components (or spin S, N=2S+1) with SU(N) symmetry in one dimension interacting via a delta -function potential. The model is integrable and its solution has been obtained by Sutherland in terms of N nested Bethe ansatze. He analyses the discrete Bethe ansatz equations and classifies their solutions according to the string hypothesis. The thermodynamic Bethe-ansatz equations are derived for arbitrary band-filling for both repulsive and attractive interaction in terms of the thermodynamic energy potentials for the classes of eigenstates of the Hamiltonian. These equations are then discussed in several limiting cases, e.g. S=1/2, the ground state (T to 0), for vanishing interaction strength, for strong coupling, in the high-temperature limit, and the large-N limit.

One-particle dynamical correlations in the one-dimensional Bose gas

Jean-Sébastien Caux, Pasquale Calabrese, Nikita A Slavnov

The momentum- and frequency-dependent one-body correlation function of the one-dimensional interacting Bose gas (Lieb–Liniger model) in the repulsive regime is studied using the Algebraic Bethe Ansatz and numerics. We first provide a determinant representation for the field form factor which is well adapted to numerical evaluation. The correlation function is then reconstructed to high accuracy for systems with finite but large numbers of particles, for a wide range of values of the interaction parameter. Our results are extensively discussed, in particular their specialization to the static case.
