Abstract

A new form of local unitary (LU) transformation invariant is given for multi-qubit states . The general relation between tangle and the LU transformation invariant of pure three and four-qubit states is given. We find that the tangle actually is a special LU transformation invariant. Furthermore, the tangle is a important local unitary (LU) transformation invariant which is a nessesary condition for maximally multi-qubit entangled state.

LU Invariants and Canonical Forms and SLOCC Classification of Pure 3-Qubit States

Di Yao-Min, Ya Cao

In this paper the entanglement of pure 3-qubit states is discussed. The local unitary (LU) polynomial invariants that are closely related to the canonical forms are constructed and the relations of the coefficients of the canonical forms are given. Then the stochastic local operations and classical communication (SLOCC) classification of the states are discussed on the basis of the canonical forms, and the symmetric canonical form of the states without 3-tangle is discussed. Finally, we give the relation between the LU polynomial invariants and SLOCC classification.

THE RELATION BETWEEN LOCAL UNITARY TRANSFORMATION INVARIANT AND PERFECT QUANTUM TELEPORTATION

Xin-Wei Zha, Haiyang Song, Kuanfang Ren

We introduce a concept of local unitary (LU) transformation invariant operators which permits us to easily obtain arbitrary multi-qubit states LU transformation invariant. The general relation between the LU transformation invariant and perfect quantum teleportation is examined. The optimal match of measurement basis is given.

Invariants for a Class of Nongeneric Three-qubit States

Bao-zhi Sun A, Shao-Ming Fei

We investigate the equivalence of quantum states under local unitary transformations. A complete set of invariants under local unitary transformations is presented for a class of non-generic three-qubit mixed states. It is shown that two such states in this class are locally equivalent if and only if all these invariants have equal values for them. As the properties of entanglement of a multipartite quantum system remain invariant under local unitary transformations on the subsystems, the entanglement can be characterized by all the invariants of the local unitary transformations. The trace norms of realigned or partial transposed density matrices in entanglement measure and separability criteria are some of these invariants [2]. Four-tangle for pure states

S. Shelly Sharma, Naresh Kumar Sharma

A novel approach to construct invariants that detect entanglement is presented. The method is based on the Peres separability criterion and Sylvester's criterion. An expression for four-tangle is obtained by examining the negativity fonts present in a four-way partial transpose under local unitary operations. An alternative derivation of three-tangle is also given.

Three-qubit pure-state canonical forms

Antonio Acín, Alexander A. Andrianov, E. Jané +1 more

In this paper we analyse the canonical forms into which any pure three-qubit state can be cast. The minimal forms, i.e. the ones with the minimal number of product states built from local bases, are also presented and lead to a complete classification of pure three-qubit states. This classification is related to the values of the polynomial invariants under local unitary transformations by a one-to-one correspondence.
