Bispectrality for the quantum open Toda chain

Abstract

An alternative to Babelon (2003 Lett. Math. Phys. 65 229) construction of dual variables for the quantum open Toda chain is proposed that is based on the 2 × 2 Lax matrix and the corresponding quadratic R -matrix algebra.

Aspects of the inverse problem for the Toda chain

Karol Kajetan Kozlowski

We generalize Babelon's approach to equations in dual variables so as to be able to treat new types of operators which we build out of the sub-constituents of the model's monodromy matrix. Further, we also apply Sklyanin's recent monodromy matrix identities so as to obtain equations in dual variables for yet other operators. The schemes discussed in this paper appear to be universal and thus, in principle, applicable to many models solvable through the quantum separation of variables.

On BaxterQ-operators for the Toda chain

G. P. Pronko

We suggest a procedure for the construction of Baxter Q -operators for the Toda chain. Apart from the one-parametric family of Q -operators, considered in our recent paper (Pronko 2000 Commun. Math. Phys. to appear) we also give the method of construction of two basic Q -operators and the derivation of the functional relations for these operators. Also we have found the relation of the basic Q -operators with Bloch solutions of the quantum linear problem.

Relativistic Toda chain

G. P. Pronko, С. М. Сергеев

Investigated is the relativistic periodic Toda chain, to each site of which the ultra-local Weyl algebra is associated. Weyl's $q$ we are considering here is restricted to be inside the unit circle. Quantum Lax operators of the model are intertwined by six vertex $R$-matrix. Both independent Baxter's $Q$-operators are constructed explicitly as seria over local Weyl generators. The operator-valued wronskian of $Q$-s is also calculated.

Lax Pair Formulation for the One-Dimensional Heisenberg XYZ Open Chain

Xi‐Wen Guan, D. M. Tong, Huan-Qiang Zhou

The Lax pair for the one-dimensional Heisenberg XYZ open chain is explicitly constructed. Our construction provides an alternative and direct demonstration for the quantum integrability of the system.

Lax matrices for a 1-parameter subfamily of van Diejen–Toda chains

B.G. Pusztai

In this paper, we construct Lax matrices for certain relativistic open Toda chains endowed with a one-sided 1-parameter boundary interaction. Built upon the Lax representation of the dynamics, an algebraic solution algorithm is also exhibited. To our best knowledge, this particular 1-parameter subfamily of van Diejen–Toda chains has not been analyzed in earlier literature.

Investigated is the relativistic periodic Toda chain, to each site of which the ultra-local Weyl algebra is associated. Weyl's qqq we are considering here is restricted to be inside the unit circle. Quantum Lax operators of the model are intertwined by six vertex RRR-matrix. Both independent Baxter's QQQ-operators are constructed explicitly as seria over local Weyl generators. The operator-valued wronskian of QQQ-s is also calculated.
We reconstruct the canonical operators pi,qip_i,q_ipi,qi of the quantum closed Toda chain in terms of Sklyanin's separated variables.
