Teleportation of Atomic States in a Vacuum-Induced Environment

Liu Jin, Shao Bin, Shao-Hua Xiang +1 more

We present a scheme for teleporting atomic state through a dissipative quantum channel induced by spontaneous emission and investigate the destructive effect of the atomic decay on the success probability and the fidelity of teleportation associated to different channels. It is found that there exists an optimal channel to realize faithful teleportation.

HEAT-BATH-INDUCED DECAY OF TELEPORTATION FIDELITY OF THE X-STATES

MENG QIN, Xuan Chen, CUI-CUI LIU

Quantum entanglement and teleportation of two qubit X-states subject to heat bath is investigated by partial teleportation protocol. We obtain the analytical expressions of the average fidelity for the X-states with one-side decoherence and two-side decoherence. The quality of quantum teleportation with various initial states is investigated by explicitly calculating the concurrence, the output concurrence and the average fidelity. The results demonstrate that the model is suitable for teleportation, which depends on the initial state. However, the mean thermal occupation number of bath and decoherence could induce the decrease of the output entanglement and the average fidelity in the quantum teleportation processing. We also find the quantum teleportation protocol of one-side decoherence is more robust than that of under two-side decoherence.

Steady-state teleportation fidelity and Bell nonlocality in dissipative environments

Yu-Xia Xie

Abstract We investigate quantum teleportation and Bell nonlocality for two channel qubits coupled via the Heisenberg interaction and subject to two independent dissipative environments. Compared with the case of two uncoupled qubits, it is shown that the interaction Hamiltonian is beneficial for enhancing the teleportation fidelity and Bell nonlocality, and remarkably, it can also be used to create nonclassical teleportation fidelity and Bell nonlocality even from the initial product states. Moreover, the interaction Hamiltonian guarantees the generation of steady-state nonclassical teleportation fidelity, which is independent of the initial state and therefore one can take any state as the initial channel state.
