Noor Ul Ain Faisal is an independent quantum researcher and educator from Pakistan working at the intersection of quantum communication, quantum security, and education. She has developed her quantum computing expertise through self-directed study and international programs including MIT OpenCourseWare, Stanford Online - edX, Quantum Internet Allian Qu-Delft, QuLearn Labs, KAIST, QBronze and IBM Quantum Learning, with MA in English Literature and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science.
Her research focuses on quantum communication and noise-resilient quantum protocols. She is developing RAQT (Remote Anonymous Quantum Transmission), a GHZ-based protocol for anonymous quantum transmission, which she studies using Qiskit, NetSquid, and SquidASM. Her current research investigates the impact of noise on GHZ-based quantum communication protocols and their robustness under realistic simulation conditions.
Noor is an IBM Qiskit Advocate, a mentor in the Qiskit Advocate Mentorship Program, and a mentor and speaker for IBM Quantum Global Summer School. She is also a Friend of the Open Quantum Institute (OQI) at CERN and a member of the IEEE GRSS QUEST Technical Committee.
Alongside research, she develops educational resources for quantum computing and cybersecurity. Her work includes Elliot the Electron, an educational quantum game covering BB84 and the No-Cloning Theorem, and the Sentinel Framework, a quantum education curriculum developed for Pakistan. She was also a recipient of a unitaryHACK 2026 educational-game bounty.
Her goal is to contribute to the development of accessible quantum education and practical research in quantum communication and security, particularly from emerging quantum ecosystems.
