thank you @yhaddad it gave me a new perspective now, i am going for advanced techniques
though i agree on kinematic-based matching which generally focuses on event reconstruction and particle association.

Hello everyone
hope everyone are doing well
i have a question regarding the data
we have one file with partons and jets
and in other one only jets
  • the partons and jets are related i mean the initial state and final state after hadronsation ?
  • What criteria were used to select the features (e.g., pt, eta, phi, delta_r) for analysis?
  • Are there any additional features or derived quantities that could be useful for the analysis?
