  • Press the Create Organization button.
  1. Add Members to a Team — Once the Organization (Team) is Created:
  • Go to the Organization page, which can be found on your profile on the Organizations tab.
  • Click Users.
  • Add members using the @usernameAdd Member.
  • There is one owner and members. Who can participate in the Challenge?
The Challenge is open to participants worldwide, including innovators, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, students, and researchers. However, individuals from countries under active export control restrictions may be excluded to comply with US international regulations. Do I need to have prior experience in quantum computing to participate?
While prior experience in quantum computing may be beneficial, it is not explicitly a requirement. The Challenge encourages diverse participation, and teams may consist of members with varying expertise. Collaborative efforts between individuals with different skill sets can lead to innovative solutions.

Team Formation

How do I build a team?
If you already have a team, great! Look for instructions on our partner site Aqora to submit your team information for the use case you choose to pursue.
  1. Create a Team:
  • Open your profile in the top‑right corner of aqora.io.
  • Click on your profile.
  • Click Organizations.
  • Press the Create Organization button.
  1. Add Members to a Team — Once the Organization (Team) is Created:
  • Click Users.
  • Add members using the @usernameAdd Member.
  • There is one owner and members. See Demo Here How do I find a team or teammates?
If you do not have a team yet, no worries! The first phase of the challenge gives you the space to connect with others and build a team. You can use the discussion board hosted on our partner site Aqora to reach out to others and connect with those you want to work with. Post on the corresponding discussion board if you are looking to join a team or recruit for an existing team. Subscribe to the topic for email updates. Who should be on the team?
We recommend teams of 1‑5 participants to balance the workload. Although there is no minimum team size, you may not have over 5 people on a team. We recommend your team is diverse, with teammates filling the following roles: Coder; Data/Technical Lead; Content/Knowledge Expert; Business/Production; and Project Manager/Team Coordinator. Although the deadline for team formation is May 5 (the first phase submission deadline), it is advised that teams are formed and registered no later than April 28. How do I communicate with my team?
You can utilize the Aqora discussion board to communicate with your team once you have identified teammates, or you can set up alternate forms of communication once you have connected. How does my team decide what use case to pursue?
The use cases can be found here. We recommend that you read the use cases and decide which best suits your technical expertise and experience. How many use cases can my team work on?
A team can submit solutions for multiple use cases, but a team cannot submit multiple solutions for the same use case. How many teams can I join?
Participants are able and encouraged to join multiple teams if the respective teams are not submitting solutions for the same use cases.

Challenge Format

What are the focus areas of the Challenge?
The Challenge targets developing solutions for key sectors that drive the quantum industry. Industry leaders have established a set of prioritized use cases for the Challenge.
