Competition Period
- Held online from April 2, 2024, to September 30, 2024.
Eligibility
- Open globally, except where prohibited by Aqora's Terms of Use.
- Employees of Ingenii are ineligible.
Registration
- Acceptance of these terms is required for participation.
- Teams are limited to a maximum of 6 members.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- The submission deadline is September 30, 2024.
- Submissions must include a detailed methodology and the code used for analysis.
- Submissions have to harness quantum computing.
Evaluation and Leaderboard
- Rankings on the leaderboard will be based on the efficacy of solutions in optimizing trial designs, with criteria detailed here.
Prizes (Awarded via Invoice for Final Solution)
- First Prize: $500 cash, a research internship* (conditional upon solution adoption), spotlight on Ingenii’s LinkedIn & Discord, and a research presentation opportunity.
- Second Prize: $300 cash, spotlight on Ingenii’s LinkedIn & Discord.
- Third Prize: $200 cash, spotlight on Ingenii’s LinkedIn & Discord.
Prize Payment Process
- Winners will need to submit an invoice to Ingenii for their final solution to receive the cash prize.
- Detailed invoicing instructions will be provided to winners after the competition.
General Rules
- Participation signifies agreement to these rules and to the final decisions of Ingenii, which are binding.
- Legal and ethical compliance is mandatory.
- Ingenii reserves the right to adjust or cancel the competition as necessary.
Privacy and Data Use
- Information collected from participants will be handled according to Aqora's privacy policy, exclusively for competition-related purposes.
- Use of the Mayo Clinic dataset must comply with all relevant laws and ethical guidelines.
