Rules

By default all competitions must comply to the rules defined in aqora's Terms of Use

Additionally, participants will comply with the IBM QISKIT Community Code of Conduct. All rights are reserved.

Competition Period

• The competition will be online from November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.

Eligibility

Open globally, except where prohibited by Aqora's Terms of Use and/or restricted by IBM as stated in IBM business terms.
Employees of IBM are ineligible,

Registration

Acceptance of these terms is required for participation.
Teams are limited to a maximum of 4 members.

Submission Guidelines

Submissions must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The submission deadline is January 31, 2025, 23:59 GMT.
Submissions must include a detailed methodology, and the code used for analysis.
Submissions must harness quantum computing.

Evaluation and Leaderboard

Rankings of the leaders will be based on the efficacy of the solutions provided.

Prizes

Winners will have the opportunity to showcase their work during the QIS and potentially collaborate with IBM Quantum on further developing their solutions if the provided solution shows novelty.

General Rules

Participation signifies agreement to these rules and to the binding final decisions of IBM Quantum.
Legal and ethical compliance is mandatory.
IBM Quantum reserves the right to adjust or cancel the competition as necessary.

Privacy and Data Use

Information collected from participants will be handled according to Aqora's privacy policy, exclusively for competition-related purposes.
Use of the open dataset must comply with all relevant laws and ethical guidelines.
