aqora's Terms of Use
Eligibility:
Open worldwide, 18+. One Aqora account per participant.
Team Size:
5 members. Do your best efforts to match this number of members in your team.
Original Work:
Build during the hackathon; open-source libraries and public datasets allowed with clear citation.
AI Use:
Allowed; you’re responsible for correctness and licensing. Note where AI tools were used in your submission.
Judging:
Quantum feasibility, IYQ alignment (UN International Year of Quantum), and creativity/originality.
Prizes:
£25,000 prize pool: evaluated and announced in Bradford on 21 November 2025. In-person attendance of finals mandatory. Distribution and conditions (incl. taxes/eligibility) will be posted on the event page.
IP & Showcase:
Teams retain IP. By submitting, you grant organizers a non-exclusive right to showcase abstracts/screenshots for event publicity.
Conduct:
Follow Aqora Community Guidelines. Plagiarism, collusion between teams, or tampering leads to disqualification.
Finals:
Shortlisted teams present live at Bradford Live (Nov 20–21, 2025). If a team can’t attend, the next highest-ranked team may be invited.
