I guess such programs are great to get more people talking about quantum, and therefore getting more talent into the field. However, I feel using quantum technologies in art is still verry much a gimmick at this point, comparable to some massively expensive RNG. To put it pessimisticly, such doctoral programs seem to be setting up students to have unmarketable skills : not technical enough for engineering, but too specialised for broader artistic careers.
What would be your take on this ?
