Hey Julien, that is a good question. The algorithm type I had in mind was gate-based when I wrote the challenge. I'll update it as soon as I can (~day or less) so if you want to use quantum annealing it will be able to handle that. If anything else comes up let me know and I will follow up when it should be implemented. Cheers!
