Integrabilities of the long-range t-J models with twisted boundary conditions

Abstract

The integrability of the one-dimensional long-range supersymmetric t-J model has previously been established for both open systems and those closed by periodic boundary conditions through explicit construction of its integrals of motion. Recently the system has been extended to include the effect of magnetic flux, which gives rise to a closed chain with twisted boundary conditions. While the t-J model with twisted boundary conditions has been solved for the ground state and full energy spectrum, proof of its integrability has so far been lacking. In this paper we extend the proof of integrability of the long-range supersymmetric t-J model and its SU(m|n) generalization to include the case of twisted boundary conditions.

Integrable deformations of the XXZ spin chain

Niklas Beisert, Lucas Fiévet, Marius de Leeuw +1 more

We consider integrable deformations of the XXZ spin chain for periodic and open boundary conditions. In particular, we classify all long-range deformations and study their impact on the spectrum. As compared to the XXX case, we have the z -spin at our disposal, which induces two additional deformations: the short-range magnetic twist and a new long-range momentum-dependent twist.

Integrability of strongly correlated electron systems on open chains

Integrability of strongly correlated electron systems on open chains XIANG-YU GEIn recent years, there has been a strong increase of interest in models of strongly correlated electron systems in condensed matter physics, in particular in integrable onedimensional models.Examples of such models are the one-dimensional Hubbard model, the supersymmetric t-J model, the Hubbard-like model (Bariev's chain), the so-called extended Hubbard model (EKS model), the supersymmetric U model and the eight-state supersymmetric U model. The study of integrable open-boundary conditions for strongly correlated electron models is very important for physical applications, especially for gaining insights into the behaviour of more realistic systems. The important ingredient in Sklyanin's boundary quantum inverse scattering method (QISM), which has played a key role in recent advances in the study of lattice models with open-boundaries, is a new algebraic structure, the reflection equation algebra. In this thesis, a general graded reflection equation algebra is proposed and the corresponding graded (supersymmetry) boundary QISM is formulated. The formalism is applicable to all boundary lattice systems where an invertible i?-matrix exists. As applications, some important integrable boundary conditions for various strongly correlated electron models with quantum superalgebra symmetries are constructed, including:1. Integrable Boundary Conditions for the One-Dimensional Hubbard Model

Masahiro Shiroishi, Miki Wadati

We discuss the integrable boundary conditions for the one-dimensional (1D) Hubbard Model in the framework of the Quantum Inverse Scattering Method (QISM). We use the fermionic R-matrix proposed by Olmedilla et al. to treat the twisted periodic boundary condition and the open boundary condition. We determine the most general form of the integrable twisted periodic boundary condition by considering the symmetry matrix of the fermionic R-matrix. To find the integrable open boundary condition, we shall solve the graded reflection equation, and find there are two diagonal solutions, which correspond to a) the boundary chemical potential and b) the boundary magnetic field. Non-diagonal solutions are obtained using the symmetry matrix of the fermionic R-matrix and the covariance property of the graded reflection equation. They can be interpreted as the SO(4) rotations of the diagonal solutions.

Recursion relations for long-range integrable spin chains with open boundary conditions

Florian Loebbert

It is well known that integrable charges for short-range (e.g. nearest-neighbor) spin chains with periodic boundary conditions can be recursively generated by a so-called boost operator. In the past, this iterative construction has been generalized to periodic long-range spin chains as they appear in the context of the gauge/gravity correspondence. Here we introduce recursion relations for open long-range spin chain charges converting a short-range into a long-range integrable model.

INTEGRABLE SU (m|n) SUPERSYMMETRIC ELECTRONIC MODELS OF STRONG CORRELATIONS

JAMES T. LIU, D.F. WANG

We consider the SU (m|n) supersymmetric generalization of the one-dimensional SU (2|2) symmetric extended Hubbard model of 1/r2 interaction. This model, defined on a lattice, is part of a large family of integrable one-dimensional multicomponent systems with long range interactions. We study both uniform and nonuniform lattices and present the ground state wavefunctions and energy spectra of these models. In both cases the spectrum is highly degenerate, with the SU (m|n) supersymmetry explaining most of the degeneracies.

Graded off-diagonal Bethe ansatz solution of the SU(2|2) spin chain model with generic integrable boundaries

Xiaotian Xu, Junpeng Cao, Yi Qiao +3 more

The graded off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method is proposed to study supersymmetric quantum integrable models (i.e., quantum integrable models associated with superalgebras). As an example, the exact solutions of the SU(2|2) vertex model with both periodic and generic open boundary conditions are constructed. By generalizing the fusion techniques to the supersymmetric case, a closed set of operator product identities about the transfer matrices are derived, which allows us to give the eigenvalues in terms of homogeneous or inhomogeneous T−Q relations. The method and results provided in this paper can be generalized to other high rank supersymmetric quantum integrable models.
