Proposal for teleportation of the wave function of a massive particle

Abstract

We propose a scheme for teleporting an atomic center-of-mass wave function between distant locations. The scheme uses interactions in cavity quantum electrodynamics to facilitate a coupling between the motion of an atom trapped inside a cavity and external propagating light fields. This enables the distribution of quantum entanglement and the realization of the required motional Bell-state analysis.

Teleportation of A Two-particle Entangled State Via Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics

We propose a scheme for the teleportation of an unknown two-particle entangled EPR state without the Bell-state measurement.Alice needs to teleport an unknown two-particle EPR state to Bob.Her atoms and Bob's are prepared in the maximal entangled GHZ state, which forms the quantum channel. She sends two atoms through a single-mode cavity field, and drives them by a strong classical field at the same time.Throngh the interaction between the atoms and the cavity, the states of these atoms are evolved. After the interaction,Alice realizes the teleportation successfully. In the scheme, the effects of thermal field and cavity decay are all eliminated. The success probability is 1.0,and the fidelity is 1.0 too.

We propose a most simple and experimentally feasible scheme for teleporting unknown atomic entangled states in driven cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In our scheme, the joint Bell-state measurement (BSM) is not required, and the successful probability can reach 1.0. Furthermore, the scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field.

Proposal for Teleportation of an Atomic State via Cavity Decay

Sougato Bose, P. L. Knight, Martin Bodo Plenio +1 more

We show how the state of an atom trapped in a cavity can be teleported to a second atom trapped in a distant cavity simply by detecting photon decays from the cavities. This is a rare example of a decay mechanism playing a constructive role in quantum information processing. The scheme is comparatively easy to implement, requiring only the ability to trap a single three level atom in a cavity.

Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement

Ye Liu, Guang‐Can Guo

We propose a scheme for teleporting an unknown atomic state in cavity QED. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. The idea can also be used in the case of teleporting an unknown atomic entangled state.

Teleportation of an unknown atomic state in cavity QED

A scheme is proposed for teleportation of an unknown atomic state based on the nonresonant interaction of two coupled two-level atoms with a single-mode cavity field. The scheme only requires the cavity field to be in a coherent state. After the interaction between the atoms and the cavity, the cavity is left in a coherent state.By detecting the states of atoms,an unknown atomic state is teleported. The scheme can also be used to teleport an unknown atomic entangled state.
