Abstract

Coordinate atypical representation of the orthosymplectic superalgebra osp (2/2) in a Hilbert superspace of square integrable functions constructed in a special way is given. The quantum nonrelativistic free particle Hamiltonian is an element of this superalgebra which turns out to be a dynamical superalgebra for this system. The supercoherent states, defined by means of a supergroup displacement operator, are explicitly constructed. These are the coordinate representation of the known atypical abstract super group OSp (2/2) coherent states. We interpret obtained results from the classical mechanics viewpoint as a model of classical particle which is immovable in the even sector of the phase superspace and is in rectilinear movement (in the appropriate coordinate system) in its odd sector.

Supercoherent States of Calogero-Sutherland Oscillator

Vladislav G. Bagrov, B. F. Samsonov

Supersymmetric quantum mechanical model of Calogero-Sutherlend singular oscillator is constructed. Supercoherent states are defined with the help of supergroup displacement operator. They are proper states of a fermionic annihilation operator. Their coordinate and superholomorphic representations are considered. The supermeasure on superunit disc which realizes the resolution of the unity is calculated. The cases of exact and spontaneously broken supersymmetry are treated separately. As an example the supersymmetric partners of the input Hamiltonian expressed in terms of elementary functions are given.

Supercoherent states

B. W. Fatyga, V. Alan Kostelecký, Michael Martin Nieto +1 more

A general approach is presented for constructing coherent states for supersymmetric systems. It uses Rogers's supermanifold formulation of supergroups to extend the group-theoretic method. Supercoherent states are explicitly obtained for the supersymmetric harmonic oscillator. They are shown to be eigenstates of the supersymmetric annihilation operator and to be minimum-uncertainty states. Two more-complex situations with extended physical supersymmetries are also considered: an electron moving in a constant magnetic field, and the electron-monopole system. The supercoherent states for these systems are found using super Baker-Campbell-Hausdorff relations and their interpretation is elucidated.

Path integrals and supercoherent states

Масуд Чайчиан, Demosthenes Ellinas, Peter Prešnajder

For the real supergroup Osp(1‖2;R), with both its compact and noncompact versions, supercoherent states are introduced with a method close to the one by Perelomov for the even subgroups SU(2) or SU(1,1). These states labeled by a complex c number and Grassmann variable minimize the uncertainty of the quadratic Casimir operator of the group. A path integral formalism is developed for the transition amplitude between supercoherent states for a Hamiltonian linear in the generators of the superalgebra, which leads to a super-Riccati equation. Finally, in the classical limit the canonical equations of motion are derived which involve a generalized super Poisson bracket.

Supercanonical transformations and time-dependent Hamiltonians

A. Anzaldo‐Meneses

Abstract Starting from general self-adjoint linear combinations of generators of the superalgebra a time-dependent Hamiltonian of a supersymmetric quantum mechanical system is defined by computing the supercommutator of the linear forms. The resulting Hamiltonian is given by the sum of two quadratic forms in odd, respectively even, generators of the superalgebra describing a class of systems containing bosons and fermions. Linear supercanonical transformations of wave vectors leave invariant a Heisenberg superalgebra and belong to the supergroup OSp . The equations of motion for the supercanonical transformations in the Heisenberg picture are shown to be systems of ordinary differential equations. The unitary time evolution operator is constructed using the adjoint map. For periodic Hamiltonians, it is shown that this is a procedure to obtain effective Floquet Hamiltonians. The examples show that the known superalgebras-based approaches for the nuclear shell model and the Jaynes-Cummings model are incorporated in the lowest-dimensional cases. The presented approach opens the possibility to study quantum control problems defined by linear combinations of superalgebra generators with Grassmannian coefficients.

Path integral for new coherent states of Lie superalgebra osp(1/2, R)

Xin Chen, Le‐Man Kuang

A path integral formulation in the representation of new coherent states for the Lie superalgebra osp(l/2, R) is introduced. By the use of the completeness relation of the new coherent states, a path integral expression for the transition amplitude between two osp(l/2, R) new coherent states for a Hamiltonian which is linear in the generators of the superalgebra are obtained. In the classical limit the equations of motion for the system are derived.
