Abstract

I show a scheme which allows a perfect transfer of an unknown single-qubit atomic state from one atom to another by letting two atoms interact simultaneously with a cavity QED. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and accordingly the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. Based on this scheme, a network for transfer of an arbitrary single-qubit atomic state between atoms is engineered. Then the scheme is generalized to perfectly transfer an arbitrary 2-qubit atomic state and accordingly a network for transfer of an arbitrary 2-qubit atomic state is designed. At last, it is proven that the schemes can be generalized to an arbitrary $n(n\ge 3)$-qubit atomic state transfer case and a corresponding network is also proposed.

Transfer of an Unknown Quantum State Via Cavity QED

Zhiping Huang

A scheme for the distant transfer of a qubit atomic state and atomic entangled states are presented. In the scheme, the identical two-level atoms interact simultaneously with a highly detuned cavity mode and are driven by a strong classical field, and the atomic state evolution is independent of cavity field state. Thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field and the requirement on the quality factor of the cavity is greatly loosened, which is of importance from the experimental point of view.

Deterministic Transfer for an Unknown Atomic Entangled State via Cavity QED

Yan Zhao, Yan-Lin Liao

We present a physics scheme for transferring an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity QED. In the transfer process the interaction between atoms and a single-mode nonresonant cavity with the assistance of a strong classical driving field (substitute) replace the Bell-state measurements. The scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. In addition, the success probability can reach 1.0 in our scheme.

Scheme for teleportation of an unknown atomic state without the Bell-state measurement

Ye Liu, Guang‐Can Guo

We propose a scheme for teleporting an unknown atomic state in cavity QED. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. The idea can also be used in the case of teleporting an unknown atomic entangled state.

A Scheme for Transferring Quantum Information via Cavity QED

Tao Wu, Juan He, NI Zhi-xiang

In this paper,we propose a scheme for transferring of a two-atom product state via cavity QED.This proposal is based on atomcavity field interaction with a large detuning and does not require the transfer of quantum information between the atoms and the cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to cavity field states and cavity decay. In addition, the scheme does not require Bell-state measurement and the transfer of the scheme can be achieved with 100% success probability in a simple manner. And the scheme can also be extended to transfer product state of n-atom.

A scheme for transferring an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity quantum electrodynamics

Wu Tao, Ye Liu, 倪致祥

In this paper, we propose a scheme for transferring an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). This scheme, which has a successful probability of 100 percent, does not require Bell-state measurement and performing any operations to reconstruct an initial state. Meanwhile, the scheme only involves atom–field interaction with a large detuning and does not require the transfer of quantum information between the atoms and cavity. Thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. This scheme can also be extended to transferring an entangled state of n-atom.

Realization of Entanglement Swapping in Cavity QED

Jun Li

We propose an entanglement swapping scheme in cavity QED.The different degree entanglement between atoms that never directly interacted can be realized, the unknown entanglement state can be transferred on atoms that never directly interacted. In the scheme, the previously used joint measurement is not needed.Only single measurement on atom is needed in realizing the swapping process.During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay.
