Quantum teleportation using cluster states

Abstract

A protocol of quantum communication is proposed in terms of the multi-qubit quantum teleportation through cluster states (Phys. Rev. Lett. \textbf{86}, 910 (2001)). Extending the cluster state based quantum teleportation on the basic unit of three qubits (or qudits), the corresponding multi-qubit network is constructed for both the qubits and qudits (multi-level) cases. The classical information costs to complete this communication task is also analyzed. It is also shown that this quantum communication protocol can be implemented in the spin-spin system on lattices.

Quantum tasks using six qubit cluster states

Jayakrishnan V. Menon, Naveen Paul, Siddharth Karumanchi +2 more

The usefulness of the recent experimentally realized six photon cluster state by C. Y. Lu et al. (2007, Nature {3} {91}), is investigated for quantum communication protocols like teleportation, quantum information splitting (QIS), remote state preparation and dense coding. We show that the present state can be used for the teleportation of an arbitrary two qubit state deterministically. Later we devise two distinct protocols for the QIS of an arbitrary two qubit state among two parties and systematically compare their relative merits in terms of classical communication and security. Sixteen orthogonal measurement basis on the cluster state is constructed, which will lock an arbitrary two qubit state among two parties. The usefulness of the state for dense coding is investigated and it is shown that one can send five classical bits by sending only three qubits using this state as a shared entangled resource. We finally show that this state can also be utilised in the remote state preparation of an arbitrary two qubit state.

Quantum Teleportation of Arbitrary Two-qubit State by using a Four-qubit Cluster State

Yin Yi-fe

In order to complete the quantum teleportation,we propose a quantum teleportation scheme of arbitrary twoqubit cluster state by using a four-qubit cluster state based on quantum entanglementphenomenon in this paper. In this scheme, the sender and the receiver share a four-qubit cluster state. The sender first performs a joint von-Neumann measurement on the qubits in his hand. And he sends the measurement results to the receiver through the classical channel. The receiver performs corresponding unitary operation according to the measurement results he received. In the process of this communication, the sender does not tell the original arbitrary two-qubit cluster state to the receiver, but he reconstructs the arbitrary two-qubit state. The quantum teleportation comes true through these processes and the mutual communication is completed.

Bidirectional Quantum Teleportation by Using Six-Qubit Cluster State

Ri‐Gui Zhou, Ruiqing Xu, Hou Lan

Quantum teleportation is considered as the most basic process of quantum communication. It is undoubtedly beneficial for the realization of quantum teleportation while transmitting the maximum number of quantum bits with the minimum number of quantum channel resources. An improved bidirectional quantum teleportation protocol based on a quantum channel of six-qubit cluster state is proposed. In this paper, the user Alice can transmit an unknown three-qubit entangled state to the user Bob, and at the same time, the user Bob can transmit an arbitrary single-qubit state to the user Alice by utilizing GHz-state measurement, bell-state measurement, single-qubit Von Neumann measurement, and unitary operations. Compared with other schemes in quantum resource consumption, necessary operation complexity including operation difficulty and intensity, classical resource consumption, quantum information bits transmitted, and intrinsic efficiency, our scheme has the remarkable advantages in transmitting more quantum information and possesses higher intrinsic efficiency.

Quantum Teleportation of a Three-qubit State using a Four-qubit Entangled State

Bo Zhang, Xingtong Liu, Jian Wang +1 more

had shown that a special form of three-qubit entangled state can be teleported by using a fivequbit cluster state. However, we demonstrate that five-qubit cluster state and five-qubit von-Neumann projective measurements are not necessary to complete the protocol. The special three-qubit state can be teleported via a four-qubit entangled state, by introducing one ancillary qubit and one controlled-not operation.Physical realization of the proposed four-qubit entangled state and the generalization to teleport the multi-qubit state is also presented.
