Photographing a time interval

Abstract

A method of measuring time intervals by a single observer proposed by Crowell is extended to the more general case when the events separated by the time interval take place at two points characterized by the same y=y' space coordinates. We show that time dilation and time contraction can take place or even an inversion in the time succession can be detected

1. Amend the two postulates of the special relativity. 2. Set “the measurement is founded to change the object by destroying the original quantum coherence between the object and its environment” as the third postulate. 3. From the third postulate (new added postulate) educe: the concept of the reference system’s referenced weight and perhaps the reference system’s space is something nearby the referenced weight; time coordinate should be something as space coordinate there is not the problem to have to synchronize the clocks of the two reference systems before simultaneous time measurement; the essence of Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle; the “actual length” of the same measurement unit in different case is different; it is the reference system’s taking measurement instead of the ether or the object’s motion that changes the being measured object; two reference systems (e.g. Σ and Σa and their relative motion may be uniform or not) taking simultaneously measure of the same quantity of the same object their measurement will disturb each other and “the numerical values before Σ’s unit” ≠ “the numerical values before Σa’s unit” (only when the relative motion speed v≡0 or uniform relative speed v=0 can the sign ≠ just turn into =); even in uniform relative motion Σ and Σa still are different for the relative motion and they may have different referenced weight, in taking simultaneously measure of the same speed of relative motion the speed numerical values of Σa is v while of Σ is va11/a44. 4. From the three postulates express the relation between the numerical values of the two reference systems taking simultaneous measurement of the same speed by matrix and the same small moving particle’s mass by the element of the matrix; determine the speed of the photon which come from “in motion” light source by the photon’s speed when light source “in stationary” and the reference systems’ coordinate relation; determine two reference systems’ coordinates relation when reduced the case educe generally there is not the invariant interval and then there is not the proper time, re-reduced the case and re-re-reduced the case then educe the essence of “in motion” time dilate or contract meanwhile space contract or dilate in all directions, moving micro-particle’s time to dilate and space to contract in all directions, superluminal photonic tunneling experiment, quasar’s super-luminal expansion and fine structure constant’s lessening, took Michelson-Morley experiment with the light from the sun or quasars or high-speed (close to C) moving micro-particle all obtained zero result.

A quantum mechanical interpretation for the relativity of the space-time

E. R. Cazaroto

In special relativity theory the physical quantities are generally expressed as function of the velocity. In the particular case of an extended object, the factor 1/gamma of Lorentz contraction of its length in the direction of motion is written as a function of the velocity of the extended object. The same happens with the Lorentz factor gamma of time interval dilation of a moving clock. In this paper we show that when gamma is written as a function of the relativistic energy of the considered object the resulting expressions for the length and for the time interval suggest that the contraction of length as well as the dilation of the time interval are manifestations of the wave behavior of matter.

A New Entry into Quantum Mechanics and Relativity Opened by NNRT A Turn toward Universal Physical Spacetime and the Repositioning of Hilbert Space and Observational Spacetime-Clarifying the Common Origin of Quantum and Relativistic Paradoxes

Eizo Nakaza

Conventional relativity places four-dimensional spacetime connected by Lorentz transformations, and fourdimensional spacetime curved by gravity, at the foundation of physical spacetime, whereas quantum mechanics places Hilbert space at the foundation of state description. As long as these two structures are simultaneously treated as fundamental realities, relativistic quantum theory and quantum gravity must begin with the problem of how a dynamically curved spacetime is to be quantized and made consistent with Hilbert-space states. Nakaza New Relativity Theory (NNRT) changes this very point of departure. NNRT takes universal time and universal three-dimensional space as physical spacetime and connects the real motions of all inertial systems by the Galilean Transformation (GT), while relocating the Lorentz transformation, time dilation, length contraction, and the gravitational metric to the observational and measurement layer obtained through electromagnetic phase. The successful mathematics and experimental values of conventional relativity are therefore retained, but the ontology in which curved and deformable four-dimensional spacetime is the unique physical spacetime is not retained. This paper uses NNRT as a new entry into quantum mechanics and repositions Hilbert space not as physical space, but as a mathematical representation space that preserves states, phases, probabilities, and correlations. Using the atomic clock as a concrete example, the paper further presents a continuous observational chain in which quantum levels generate a frequency scale and the resulting phase signal is compared between systems through relative motion and gravitational fields. Accordingly, the conventional entry point—how to quantize a physically real curved four-dimensional spacetime and incorporate it into Hilbert space—loses its premise within NNRT, and quantum theory and relativity are reconstructed as distinct representational and observational structures arising from a common universal physical spacetime. Schrödinger’s cat, EPR/Bell correlations, time dilation, length contraction, the twin problem, and the reification of the gravitational metric can then be organized as manifestations of a common ontological operation: identifying a mathematical representation with physical reality itself. The significance of this paper is therefore not to add another interpretation alongside conventional relativity, but to absorb its successful mathematics into the observational layer of NNRT and, by turning the ontological point of departure, to provide a new formulation of foundational problems that includes quantum mechanics.
