A Fractional Supersymmetric Oscillator and Its Coherent States

Abstract

We review some basic elements on k-fermions, which are objects interpolating between bosons and fermions. In particular, we define k-fermionic coherent states and study some of their properties. The decomposition of a Q-uon into a boson and a k-fermion leads to a definition of fractional supercoherent states. Such states involve bosonic coherent states and k-fermionic coherent states. We construct an Hamiltonian which generalizes the ordinary (or Z_2-graded) supersymmetric oscillator Hamiltonian. Our Hamiltonian describes a fractional (or Z_k-graded) supersymmetric oscillator for which the fractional supercoherent states are coherent states.

ON FRACTIONAL SUPERSYMMETRIC QUANTUM MECHANICS: THE FRACTIONAL SUPERSYMMETRIC OSCILLATOR

Mohammed Daoud A, M. Kibler

The Hamiltonian for a fractional supersymmetric oscillator is derived from three approaches. The first one is based on a decomposition in which a Q-uon gives rise to an ordinary boson and a k-fermion (a k-fermion being an object interpolating between boson and fermion). The second one starts from a generalized Weyl-Heisenberg algebra. Finally, the third one relies on the quantum algebra Uq(sl(2)) where q is a root of unity.

Supercoherent states

Carlos Aragone, Fredy R. Zypman

The authors present the supercoherent states. They are introduced as the eigenstates of the supersymmetric annihilation operator of the quantum mechanical supersymmetric harmonic oscillator. They have a compact expression in terms of the standard (bosonic) coherent states. For each value of the complex parameter z there are two linearly independent orthogonal supercoherent states. One of them has pure fermionic character and is the more classical, while the other is fully supersymmetric (i.e. the mean value of the Klein operator when the system is set in this state vanishes). There are no purely bosonic supercoherent states. The supercoherent fermionic states saturate both the Heisenberg uncertainty relation and the new entropic uncertainty recently introduced by Deutsch (1983), while the supersymmetric ones almost (but not exactly) make it. They give a classical (or almost classical) mean value for the energy of the system and do not spread along their time evolution.

A q-analogue of the supersymmetric oscillator and its q-supercoherent states

Gong Ren-shan

A q-analogue of the supersymmetric oscillator is constructed out of q-boson and ordinary fermion creation and annihilation operators. q-supercoherent states are explicitly obtained for the q-deformed supersymmetric oscillator. They are shown to be eigenstates of both q-boson and fermion annihilation operators and to satisfy a completeness relation. The representation of the q-deformed superalgebra in super Bargmann-Fock space is also discussed by means of the q-supercoherent states.

Generalized supercoherent states

Mohammed Daoud A, M. Kibler, Y. Hassouni

A set of operators, the so-called k-fermion operators, that interpolate between boson and fermion operators are introduced through the consideration of an algebra arising from two non-commuting quon algebras. The deformation parameters q and 1/q for these quon algebras are roots of unity with q to the power k being equal to 1. The case k = 2 corresponds to fermions and the case k going to infinity to bosons. Generalized coherent states (connected to the k-fermionic states) and super-coherent states (involving a k-fermionic sector and a purely bosonic sector) are investigated.

The k-fermions as objects interpolating between fermions and bosons

Mohammed Daoud A, Y. Hassouni, M. Kibler

Operators, refered to as k-fermion operators, that interpolate between boson and fermion operators are introduced through the consideration of two noncommuting quon algebras. The deformation parameters for these quon algebras are roots of unity connected to an integer k. The case k=2 corresponds to fermions and the limiting case k going to infinity to bosons. Generalized coherent states and supercoherent states are investigated. The Dirac quantum phase operator and the Fairlie-Fletcher-Zachos algebra are also considered.

The q-superoscillators in supersymmetric quantum systems and their q-supercoherent states

Hao San-Ru, Guanghua Li, LONG JUN-YAN

In this paper, the q-deformed quantum harmonic oscillators in the supersymmetric quantum systems are introduced. The q-supercoherent states associated with the q-deformed supersymmetric quantum harmonic oscillators are constructed explicitly, and their properties are investigated in detail. It is shown that the q-supercoherent states are completeness. The uncertainty relations for q-supercoherent states are discussed as well.
