STATISTICAL PROPERTIES OF KLAUDER–PERELOMOV COHERENT STATES FOR THE MORSE POTENTIAL

arXivHTMLPDF

Abstract

We present in this letter a realistic construction of the coherent states for the Morse potential using the Klauder–Perelomov approach. We discuss the statistical properties of these states, by deducing the Q- and P-distribution functions. The thermal expectations for the quantum canonical ideal gas of the Morse oscillators are also calculated.

Gazeau–Klauder coherent states for trigonometric Rosen–Morse potential

Alireza Chenaghlou, Omid Faizy

The Gazeau–Klauder coherent states for the trigonometric Rosen–Morse potential are constructed. It is shown that the resolution of unity, temporal stability, and action identity conditions are satisfied for the coherent states. The Mandel parameter is also calculated for the weighting distribution function corresponding to the coherent states.

Squeezed coherent states and the Morse quantum system

Maia N Angelova, Véronique Hussin

The Morse potential quantum system is a realistic model for studying vibrations of atoms in a diatomic molecule. This system is very close to the harmonic oscillator one. We thus propose a construction of squeezed coherent states similar to the one of harmonic oscillator using ladder operators. Properties of these states are analysed with respect to the localization in position, minimal Heisenberg uncertainty relation, the statistical properties and illustrated with examples using the finite number of states in a well-known diatomic molecule.

Wigner Functions of the Klauder-Perelomov Coherent States for the Pseudoharmonic Oscillator

Xiaoyan Zhang

Using the coherent state representation of Wigner operator and the tec hnique of integration within an ordered product(IWOP) of operators, the Wigner functions of the Klauder-Perelomov coherent states for the pseudoharmonic oscil lator were obtained and the variations of the Wigner functions with the parameters k and z were discussed. The results revealed well interference properties of the K lauder-Perelomov coherent states for the pseudoharmonic oscillator.

Morse-like squeezed coherent states and some of their properties

O de los Santos-Sánchez, J. Récamier

Using the f-deformed oscillator formalism, we introduce a class of squeezed coherent states for a Morse potential system (Morse-like squeezed coherent states) defined as approximate eigenstates of a linear combination of f-deformed ladder operators. For the states thus constructed, we analyze their statistical properties, their uncertainty relations, their Wigner function and their temporal evolution on phase space.
