Nonextensive Bose–Einstein condensation model

Abstract

The imperfect Boson gas supplemented with a gentle repulsive interaction is completely solved. In particular, it is proved that it has nonextensive Bose–Einstein condensation, i.e., there is condensation without macroscopic occupation of the ground (k=0) state level.

On the Bose condensation in some model of a nonideal Bose gas

Дмитрий Петрович Санкович

A model of a nonideal Bose gas with a repulsive interaction is considered. It is proved that there is not macroscopic occupation of the ground state in the thermodynamic limit in this model, but nevertheless the generalized condensation occurs.

BEC IN NONEXTENSIVE STATISTICAL MECHANICS: SOME ADDITIONAL RESULTS

LUCA SALASNICH

In a recent paper1 we discussed the Bose–Einstein condensation (BEC) in the framework of Tsallis's nonextensive statistical mechanics. In particular, we studied an ideal gas of bosons in a confining harmonic potential. In this memoir we generalize our previous analysis by investigating an ideal Bose gas in a generic power-law external potential. We derive analytical formulas for the energy of the system, the BEC transition temperature and the condensed fraction.

A model with coexistence of two kinds of Bose condensation

J.-B. Bru, Valentin Anatol'evich Zagrebnov

We present an exactly soluble boson model which manifests two kinds of condensation. They occur in two stages: for intermediate densities one has a non-conventional Bose condensation in the lowest mode k = 0, which is due to a diagonal perturbation of the imperfect Bose gas Hamiltonian, whereas for large densities , this condensation coexists with conventional (generalized, non-extensive) Bose-Einstein condensation in non-zero modes condensation, corresponding to the standard mechanism of saturation.
