Abstract

The generating functional of correlation functions for the XXZ spin chain is considered in the thermodynamic limit. We derive a system of integro-difference equations that prescribe this functional. On the basis of this system we establish the operator-valued Riemann-Hilbert problem for correlation functions of the XXZ spin chain.

Asymptotic form of the two-point correlation function of theXXZspin chain

Yasuhiro Fujii, Miki Wadati

Correlation functions of the XXZ spin chain in the critical regime are studied at zero temperature. They are exactly represented in the Fredholm determinant form and are related to an operator-valued Riemann-Hilbert problem. Analysing this problem we prove that a two-point correlation function is asymptotically expressed in terms of power functions of the distance between spin operators.

Dual Field Approach to Correlation Functions in the Heisenberg Xxz Spin Chain

Fabian H. L. Eßler, V. E. Korepin

We study zero temperature correlation functions of the spin-$1\over 2$ Heisenberg XXZ model in the critical regime $-1< Δ\leq 1$ in a magnetic field by means of the {\tenit Dual Field Approach}. We show for one particular example how to derive determinant representations for correlation functions and how to use these to embed the correlation functions in integrable systems of integro-difference equations (IDE). These IDE are associated with a Riemann-Hilbert problem.

Exact solution of Riemann–Hilbert problem for a correlation function of the XY spin chain

Yasuhiro Fujii

A correlation function of the XY spin chain is studied at zero temperature. This is called the Emptiness Formation Probability (EFP) and is expressed by the Fredholm determinant in the thermodynamic limit. We formulate the associated Riemann–Hilbert problem and solve it exactly. The EFP is shown to decay in Gaussian. In this letter we study the Riemann–Hilbert problem associated with a correlation function of the XY spin chain. The Hamiltonian of the model is given by

Correlation functions of the integrable spin- s chain ∗

G A P Ribeiro, Andreas Klümper

Abstract We study the correlation functions of su (2) invariant spin- s chains in the thermodynamic limit. We derive nonlinear integral equations for an auxiliary correlation function ω for any spin s and finite temperature T . For the spin-3/2 chain for arbitrary temperature and zero magnetic field we obtain algebraic expressions for the reduced density matrix of two-sites. In the zero temperature limit, the density matrix elements are evaluated analytically and appear to be given in terms of Riemann’s zeta function values of even and odd arguments.

High-temperature analysis of the transverse dynamical two-point correlation function of the XX quantum-spin chain

Frank Göhmann, Karol Kajetan Kozlowski, Junji Suzuki

We analyze the transverse dynamical two-point correlation function of the XX chain by means of a thermal form factor series. The series is rewritten in terms of the resolvent and the Fredholm determinant of an integrable integral operator. This connects it with a matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem. We express the correlation function in terms of the solution of the matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem. The matrix Riemann-Hilbert problem is then solved asymptotically in the high-temperature limit. This allows us to obtain the leading high-temperature contribution to the two-point correlation function at any fixed space-time separation.
