Exact solution of an electron system combining two differentt-Jmodels

Abstract

A new strongly correlated electron model is presented. This is formed by two types of sites: one where double occupancy is forbidden, as in the t - J model, and the other where double occupancy is allowed but vacancy is not allowed, as in an inverse t - J model. The Hamiltonian shows nearest and next-to-nearest neighbour interactions and it is solved by means of a modified algebraic nested Bethe ansatz. The number of sites where vacancy is not allowed, may be treated as a new parameter if the model is regarded as a t - J model with impurities. The ground and excited states are described in the thermodynamic limit.

Opent-Jchain with boundary impurities

We study integrable boundary conditions for the supersymmetric t - J model of correlated electrons which arise when combining static scattering potentials with dynamical impurities carrying an internal degree of freedom. The latter differ from the bulk sites by allowing for double occupation of the local orbitals. The spectrum of the resulting Hamiltonians is obtained by means of the algebraic Bethe ansatz.

Integrable narrow-band model with possible relevance to heavy-fermion systems

P. Schlottmann

A lattice model consisting of a single narrow band is introduced to describe some aspects of heavy electrons. The model excludes double occupancy of the sites and electrons on nearest-neighbor sites interact via a charge interaction and spin exchange. The model is integrable in one dimension for some special values of the coupling constants. These cases are related to the SU(3) invariance. The Bethe-ansatz equations are obtained and ground-state and thermodynamic properties are discussed and solved in some limiting cases.

Integrabilities of thet-Jmodel with impurities

Zhan-Ning Hu, Fu-Cho Pu, Yupeng Wang

The Hamiltonian with magnetic impurities coupled to the strongly correlated electron system is constructed from the t - J model. It is diagonalized exactly by using the Bethe ansatz method. Our boundary matrices depend on the spins of the electrons. The Kondo problem in this system is discussed in detail. The integral equations are derived with complex rapidities which describe the bound states in the system. The finite-size corrections for the ground-state energies are obtained.

Exact solution of a two-parameter extended Bariev model

Mingchen Zheng, Xin Zhang, Junpeng Cao +2 more

An exactly solvable strongly correlated electron model with two independent parameters is constructed in the frame of the quantum inverse scattering method, which can be seen as a generalization of the Bariev model. Through the Bethe ansatz method, a set of Bethe ansatz equations is derived. In the thermodynamic limit, to study the ground state of the model, we obtain the integral equations for the density of Bethe roots. Numerical validation is done to confirm the accuracy of our analytic results.

New integrable generalization of the one-dimensional model

Francisco Castilho Alcaraz, R. Z. Bariev

A new generalization of the t - J model with a nearest-neighbour hopping is formulated and solved exactly by the Bethe ansatz method in the thermodynamic limit. The model describes the dynamics of fermions with different spins and with isotropic and anisotropic interactions.
