Abstract

The exact results for thermodynamical properties of one-dimensional spin-1/2 isotropic XY model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in random lorentzian transverse field are obtained. This permits to discuss some approximate methods of disordered spin systems theory. The approximate scheme of examining the thermodynamics of one-dimensional spin-1/2 XXZ Heisenberg model with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in random lorentzian field is suggested.

Considering one-dimensional spin-1/2 isotropic XY model with Dzyaloshinski–Moriya interaction in random Lorentzian transverse field we have calculated exactly thermodynamic quantities of the model. We used the derived average single-particle density of states to examine the validity of coherent potential approximation.

Thermodynamic properties of spin- 12 transverse XY chains with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction: Exact solution for correlated Lorentzian disorder

We extend the consideration of the spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ transverse $\mathrm{XY}$ chain with correlated Lorentzian disorder [Phys. Rev. B 55, 14 298 (1997)] for the case of additional Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interspin interaction. It is shown how the averaged density of states can be calculated exactly. Results are presented for the density of states and the transverse magnetization.

Thermodynamics of the s=1/2 transverse XX chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction in the presence of correlated Lorentzian disorder

Oleg Derzhko, Johannes Richter, Volodymyr Derzhko

The spin-1/2 transverse XY chain with correlated disorder may exhibit the nonzero averaged transverse magnetization at zero averaged transverse field. We discuss this peculiarity connected with asymmetry in the density of states and induced by the correlated disorder analysing the moments of the density of states.

The entanglement in one-dimensional random XY spin chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction

Shan Chuan-Jia, Cheng Wei-Wen, Tang-Kun Liu +3 more

In this paper, the entanglement in one-dimensional random XY spin system with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction is investigated, for which the impurities of exchange couplings and the external magnetic fields are considered as random Gaussian distribution variables. By solving the different spin-spin correlation functions and the average magnetization per spin, the concurrence is found. The results show that the Gaussian distribution and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction have considerable effect on the entanglement near particular locations of the system. Moreover, the entanglement can be controlled and enhanced by varying the distributions of the impurities, the strength of external magnetic field and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction.

1D S = 1/2 anisotropic xy model in transverse field with dzyaloshinskii-moriya interaction

Using Jordan-Wigner fermionization we examined the statistical mechanics of 1D s=1/2 XY model in transverse field with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. In particular we calculated exactly the transverse dynamical susceptibility. The obtained results change dramatically in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction that can be of considerable interest in connection with the corresponding experimental studies.
