Functional renormalization group for “p = 2” like glassy matrices in the planar approximation III. Equilibrium dynamics and beyond

Vincent Lahoche, Dine Ousmane Samary

This paper is the last of the series investigating renormalization group aspects of stochastic random matrices, including a Wigner-like disorder. We consider the equilibrium dynamics formalism that can be merged with the Ward identities arising from the large N effective kinetics. We construct a regulator that does not break time-reversal symmetry and show that the resulting flow equations reduce to the equilibrium flow built in our previous works. Finally, we investigate the flow equations beyond the equilibrium dynamics assumption and study the stability of the perturbation around the fluctuation-dissipation theorem.

Frequency regulators for the nonperturbative renormalization group: A general study and the model A as a benchmark

Charlie Duclut, Bertrand Delamotte

We derive the necessary conditions for implementing a regulator that depends on both momentum and frequency in the nonperturbative renormalization-group flow equations of out-of-equilibrium statistical systems. We consider model A as a benchmark and compute its dynamical critical exponent z. This allows us to show that frequency regulators compatible with causality and the fluctuation-dissipation theorem can be devised. We show that when the principle of minimal sensitivity (PMS) is employed to optimize the critical exponents η, ν, and z, the use of frequency regulators becomes necessary to make the PMS a self-consistent criterion.

Renormalization group description of the nonequilibrium critical dynamics of spin systems at the fixed space dimension d = 3

I. V. Lavrukhin, Vladimir V. Prudnikov, Pavel Vladimirovich Prudnikov

We present the method and results of a renormalization group description of nonequilibrium critical relaxation of model A with evolution from an initial high-temperature state. We calculate the two-time dependence of the correlation function and response function and find a violation of the fluctuationdissipation theorem in the nonequilibrium critical regime. For the limit fluctuation-dissipation relation, which is a universal property of the nonequilibrium critical dynamics, we calculate the fluctuation and impurity corrections in the two-loop approximation at the fixed space dimension d = 3 using Padé–Borel summation for asymptotic series.
