Abstract

The effect of the extra second neighbor hopping t' on the incommensurate spin correlation in the t-J model in the underdoped regime is studied within the fermion-spin theory. It is shown that although the extra second neighbor hopping t' is systematically accompanied with the increasing of the weight of the incommensurate peaks in the dynamical spin structure factor, for the physical reasonable small value of t' the qualitative behavior of the incommensurate spin correlation in the t-t'-J model is the same as in the case of t-J model.

Effect of the additional second neighbor hopping on the spin dynamics in the t-J model

Xianglin Le, Feng Yuan, Shiping Feng

The effect of the additional second neighbor hopping t' on the spin dynamics in the t-J model is studied within the fermion-spin theory. Although the additional second neighbor hopping t' is systematically accompanied with the reduction of the dynamical spin structure factor and susceptibility, the qualitative behaviors of the dynamical spin structure factor and susceptibility are the same as in the case of t-J model. It is also shown that the integrated dynamical spin structure factor is almost t' independent in the underdoped regime.

Influence of the additional second-neighbor hopping on the spin response in the t-J model

Xianglin Ke, Feng Yuan, Shiping Feng

The influence of the additional second-neighbor hopping ${t}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ on the spin response of the $t\ensuremath{-}J$ model in the underdoped and optimally doped regimes is studied within the fermion-spin theory. Although the additional second-neighbor hopping ${t}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ is systematically accompanied by the reduction of the dynamical spin structure factor and susceptibility, the qualitative behavior of the dynamical spin structure factor and susceptibility of the ${t\ensuremath{-}t}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{-}J$ model is the same as in the case of $t\ensuremath{-}J$ model. The integrated dynamical spin structure factor spectrum is almost ${t}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ independent, and the integrated dynamical spin susceptibility still shows the particularly universal behavior as $I(\ensuremath{\omega},T)\ensuremath{\propto}\mathrm{arctan}[{a}_{1}\ensuremath{\omega}{/T+a}_{3}(\ensuremath{\omega}{/T)}^{3}].$

Spin dynamics in doped triangular antiferromagnets

Pengpeng Zhang, Shiping Feng, Wei Yeu Chen

Within the $t--J$ model, the spin response of the doped triangular antiferromagnet in the underdoped and optimally doped regimes is studied based on the fermion-spin theory. The spinon part is treated by using the loop expansion to the second order. It is shown that although the dynamical spin structure factor and susceptibility exhibit the anomalous behaviors at the antiferromagnetic zone center, the particularly universal behaviors of the integrated dynamical spin structure factor and susceptibility present in the doped square antiferromagnet, are absent in the doped triangular antiferromagnet.
