Standard quantum interpretations-based on point trajectories, branching wave functions, or instantaneous projection-rely on two continuum idealizations: infinite spatial information density and infinite measurement bandwidth. A central foundational question is whether complex Hilbert-space kinematics, noncommuting observables, and single-outcome collapse follow from real physical fields under finite information capacity and bandwidth. We formulate Objective Phase-Space Quantum Information-Capacity Mechanics (QICM), specifying the state on a configuration manifold by a real probability density and a compact flow potential. Three axioms govern the theory: the first requires finite Fisher information and defines the potential on a flat circle bundle with quantized holonomy and half-period nodal jumps, resolving Wallstrom's objection; the second sets an elementary resolution quantum from the Bloch-sphere Fisher solid angle; and the third pairs Fisher localization energy with a Nyquist-Planck capacity bound in stochastic equations for closed flow and continuous measurement. On the reduced tangent space, the symplectic form, Fisher-Rao metric, and complex structure form a Kahler geometry inducing the Hermitian inner product, self-adjoint operators, and Heisenberg commutators. The axioms yield uncertainty bounds, the minimum resolution time, oscillator and hydrogen spectra, martingale Born-rule collapse, and the Lindblad equation, and extend to relativistic fields, half-integer spin, Pauli pressure, Compton-scale ultraviolet regularization, and ensemble no-signaling. QICM thus unifies unitary evolution and collapse in a single-world field dynamics without superluminal signaling, yielding testable bounds on compression times, readout horizons, and short-pulse thresholds in circuit-QED, optomechanics, and trapped ions.

DESCRIPTION This work presents a complete, deterministic framework for quantum mechanics derived entirely from a single, testable postulate: the density of quantum space. The Core Problem For over a century, quantum mechanics has been interpreted as a theory of fundamental randomness, wave-particle duality, instantaneous jumps, and irreducible uncertainty. The standard Copenhagen interpretation treats the wave function as a probability amplitude, measurement as a "collapse" of that probability, and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle as a fundamental limit of nature. This work demonstrates that all these "mysteries" are not properties of nature—they are artifacts of our limited perception. We observe quantum phenomena through slow, macroscopic instruments that cannot resolve the actual continuous dynamics occurring in a space that is 6.54 trillion times denser than what we perceive as "empty space." The Fundamental Postulate The foundation of this work is a single, geometrically derived constant: ρ = (number of Planck lengths in 1 mm) / (number of millimeters in 1 light-year) = 6.54 × 10¹² Physical Meaning: One millimeter of physical space contains 6.54 trillion times more quantum spatial units than one light-year contains millimeters. What we perceive as "empty space" is actually a dense, discrete, information-rich medium. The entire observable universe (93 billion light-years in diameter) maps to only 0.014 light-years in quantum space—well within our Solar System. Consequence: The density inversion explains why quantum phenomena appear strange: we are observing a dense, fast, discrete reality through slow, coarse, macroscopic instruments. The apparent "weirdness" is not in nature—it is in our perception. The Comprehensive Law From the density postulate and classical physics (Newton, Coulomb, Maxwell, Einstein), a single comprehensive law is derived that contains all known physics as limit cases: E(t,v,n) = (m₀c²/ρ) · ‖n‖ · √(1 + (γv/c)²) · sin(2πt/T) This formula contains: Einstein's E = mc² as the limit ρ → 1, ‖n‖ → 1, sin → 1, v ≪ c Newtonian mechanics as the limit v ≪ c Special relativity as the limit ρ → 1, ‖n‖ → 1, sin → 1 Quantum mechanics as the discrete geometry n ∈ ℤ³ and resonance sin(2πt/T) Each term has a precise physical meaning: the rest mass energy (m₀c²) is scaled by the quantum space density (1/ρ), modified by the position relative to the absolute zero point Z₀ (‖n‖), adjusted for relativistic motion (√(1 + (γv/c)²)), and modulated by temporal resonance (sin(2πt/T)). Resolution of All Quantum Paradoxes Wave-Particle Duality = Optical Illusion The electron is always a localized particle with a definite trajectory. The "wave" is the charge density distribution—a standing wave in the dense quantum medium. From the standing wave condition 2πr = nλ, the Poynting vector in the far field is exactly zero (S = 0), meaning the electron does not radiate. The apparent "wave behavior" is an optical illusion caused by the density ρ smearing the point-like trajectory in our low-resolution projection. Wave Function = Energy Density, Not Probability The squared modulus of the wave function |Ψ|² is the energy density fraction, not a probability density. The particle itself follows a deterministic trajectory y(t) = v₀t - ½g₀t². Probability appears only because we cannot resolve the trajectory (due to t_total = 118 as ≪ Δt_instr) and we do not know the initial phase φ of the oscillation. Schrödinger Equation = Effective Approximation The Schrödinger equation is an effective, averaged description of how the energy density evolves. The fundamental law is classical motion in the dense quantum medium. The Schrödinger equation emerges when we average over the fast oscillation sin(2πt/T), ignore the density force F_ρ, and treat trajectories statistically. Quantization = Resonance, Not Arbitrary Jumps Energy levels are the resonant harmonics of the quantum space medium. The standing wave condition 2πr = nλ gives E_n = -13.6 eV/n²—exactly the same physics as a vibrating string. Only frequencies that satisfy the standing wave condition are stable. The transition between levels is not an instantaneous "jump" but a continuous trajectory y(t) = v₀t - ½g₀t² with total duration t_total = 118 as. The apparent "instantaneous jump" is an artifact of our slow instruments. Heisenberg Uncertainty = Collision, Not Fundamental Limit The uncertainty product depends on the measurement geometry: Δx·Δp = h·tan(θ/2), where θ is the scattering angle of the measurement photon. As θ → 0 (forward scattering with perfect detection), the product approaches zero. There is no fundamental lower bound. The uncertainty is a practical limitation of invasive measurement—we disturb the particle's trajectory when we hit it with a photon. Quantum Randomness = Ignorance Residual "quantum randomness" is simply unmodeled environmental force noise. The apparent randomness arises from three sources: temporal resolution (t_total = 118 as ≪ Δt_instr—we cannot resolve the trajectory), initial phase ignorance (we do not know the phase φ of sin(2πt/T)), and measurement perturbation (we do not know the exact collision parameters). If we could measure the outgoing photon completely and know the initial phase, the outcome would be fully deterministic. Randomness is in our ignorance, not in nature. Five Testable Predictions The theory makes five clear, quantitative predictions that distinguish it from standard quantum mechanics: Prediction 1 - Electron Transit Time: The electron transit time during the n=1 → n=2 transition in hydrogen is 118 ± 5 attoseconds. Standard quantum mechanics predicts zero duration (instantaneous jump). Testable with attosecond pump-probe spectroscopy. Prediction 2 - Heisenberg Product Can Approach Zero: With better detectors, the uncertainty product Δx·Δp can approach zero, not ħ/2. Standard quantum mechanics predicts Δx·Δp ≥ ħ/2 always. Testable with weak measurement experiments. Prediction 3 - Energy Oscillation at 116 kHz: The energy of gold-197 oscillates at 116 kHz with amplitude 1.252 × 10⁻²⁶ J. Standard quantum mechanics predicts constant energy for a given state. Testable with precision spectroscopy. Prediction 4 - Bell Inequality Violations Decrease with Measurement Strength: As measurement impulse strength decreases, Bell inequality violations decrease. Standard quantum mechanics predicts violations are independent of measurement strength. Testable with weak measurement entanglement experiments. Prediction 5 - Quantum Randomness is Environmental Noise: Residual "quantum randomness" equals unmodeled environmental force noise. Full force accounting restores classical determinism. Standard quantum mechanics predicts randomness is fundamental and irreducible. Testable with complete force reconstruction in closed quantum systems. The Absolute Zero Point Z₀ This work introduces Z₀ = (0,0,0) as a universal, absolute reference point in quantum space. Every point in space has a discrete address: n = (n_r, n_θ, n_φ), ‖n‖ = √(n_r² + n_θ² + n_φ²) Z₀ is physically grounded in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) rest frame, vacuum energy (the lowest possible energy state), and the geometric center of the quantum space lattice. This eliminates the relativity of reference frames—providing an absolute coordinate system that standard physics lacks. Mathematical Consistency The work provides rigorous derivations of: The density ρ from first principles (Planck length, electron mass, fine structure constant) The quantum coordinate norm ‖n‖ from the discrete metric of quantum space The oscillation period T from the de Broglie relation The coupling constant ε from fundamental constants The regularized metric eliminating all singularities The thermodynamic properties of quantum space (entropy, temperature, heat capacity) The covariant Einstein equation in quantum space The connection to quantum anomalies and topological invariants The Lamb shift from quantum space density oscillation Dark energy from quantum space density variation Comparison with Other Approaches String theory requires approximately 10⁵⁰⁰ free parameters and offers no testable predictions with current technology, while introducing new physics such as strings, extra dimensions, and supersymmetry. Loop quantum gravity requires approximately 10 parameters and also offers no testable predictions, introducing spin networks and loop quantization. Both approaches have difficulty connecting to the Standard Model. In contrast, this theory has only one parameter (ρ, which is derived from fundamental constants rather than being free), offers five testable predictions with current or near-future technology, requires no new physics beyond standard physics applied in a dense medium, and connects directly to the Standard Model through the energy-momentum tensor. The Core Message Quantum mechanics is not magic. It is not a new kind of physics. It is the same old physics—Newton, Maxwell, Coulomb—operating in a space that is 6.54 trillion times denser than we perceive. Three things to remember: Space is dense, not empty. What we call "empty space" is actually a dense, discrete medium. We are the ones who are sparse—not the universe. The particle has a trajectory. Every particle follows a precise, continuous path. We don't see it because our instruments are too slow. The path exists—we just can't resolve it. Energy breathes. Energy is not a static number. It oscillates in time, like a heartbeat. The universe is alive with resonance. Conclusion This work demonstrates that quantum mechanics is not a theory of fundamental randomness and irreducible uncertainty. It is the low-resolution, static-space approximation of a deeper, deterministic, dynamic reality. The deeper reality is quantum space—dense, discrete, resonant, and absolute. The final statement of this
We develop a conditionally closed reconstruction of quantum mechanics from exactly three physical axioms: microscopic ontic definiteness and finite localization, physical reality of the spacetime--vacuum substrate, and persistent causal source--response coupling. Wave functions, Hilbert spaces, complex amplitudes, density operators, the Born rule, commutation relations, Fock spaces, path integrals, completely positive maps, and Markovian dynamics are introduced only as derived mathematical or operational structures, not as additional physical axioms. The construction distinguishes the actual finite carrier and its causal history from the quantum state used to represent preparations, transformations, and measurement probabilities. It derives unitary dynamics from self-adjoint Hamiltonians, formulates spectral observables and probability currents, and states the explicit equilibrium, additivity, noncontextuality, and calibration conditions required for the Born representation. Measurement is described through instruments, pointer dynamics, stable records, weak values, continuous monitoring, diffusive and counting trajectories, and operational error--disturbance relations. Quantum trajectories remain record-conditioned predictive representations rather than automatically ontic paths. Composite systems, identical particles, spin, entanglement entropy, purification, steering, Bell correlations, dense coding, and no-broadcasting are developed on declared tensor-product and symmetry domains. Open-system dynamics are formulated through causal Volterra equations, memory kernels, initial-slip terms, auxiliary-mode realizations, and unitary dilations. Existence, positivity, complete positivity, trace preservation, no-signalling, and energy closure are treated as logically distinct properties. Semiclassical pseudodifferential calculus, controlled path-integral convergence, Ehrenfest-time bounds, semiclassical measures, decoherence, and macroscopic-record stability define the quantum--classical interface. Topological phases, defect-bound states, relativistic wave equations, infrared dressing, and effective quantum-field-theory domains are incorporated with explicit applicability and error conditions. Numerical spectral certification, statistical model comparison, twenty-five benchmark models, theorem-status ledgers, and a complete experimental statistical protocol provide falsification and replication criteria. The resulting framework preserves standard quantum mechanics on its validated domain while isolating finite-core and historical corrections as conditional, quantitatively bounded, and experimentally testable extensions. **Keywords** Quantum foundations; topological quantum mechanics; historical memory; three-axiom reconstruction; Born rule; quantum measurement; weak measurement; quantum trajectories; entanglement; spin and statistics; open quantum systems; Volterra equations; semiclassical limit; quantum topology; numerical certification; experimental falsification.
Standard quantum mechanics relies on an observer-dependent measurement postulate and an artificial linear-nonlinear dichotomy to resolve the superposition of macroscopically distinct states. While objective collapse models---such as Continuous Spontaneous Localization (CSL), Ghirardi-Rimini-Weber (GRW), and Di\'{o}si-Penrose gravitationally induced models---introduce stochastic non-linearities to achieve objective state reduction, they suffer from three fundamental pathologies: continuous energy non-conservation (spontaneous heating), reliance on memoryless white-noise approximations, and unphysical infinite spatial tails. In this work, I present Quantum Wave Function (QWF) Theory, a comprehensive non-perturbative framework that elevates the state functional Ψ to an exact physical ontology. QWF introduces a non-Markovian colored noise memory kernel K(t−τ) governed by a finite high-frequency cutoff, capturing realistic vacuum and environmental back-action times. To resolve the long-standing spontaneous heating anomaly, I incorporate a momentum-dependent dissipative counter-term D^diss into the stochastic differential equation, strictly enforcing energy conservation dtd⟨H^⟩=0 in closed isolated systems. Furthermore, I eliminate the infinite tail pathology by introducing a state-dependent stochastic amplitude filtering protocol where the microscopic collapse coupling dynamically increases in the asymptotic regime to enforce exponential tail damping below a physical threshold ϵ, without breaking density matrix linearity. Extending beyond non-relativistic domains, I formulate a fully covariant quantum field description on arbitrary spacelike hypersurfaces Σ using a Tomonaga-Schwinger stress-energy framework, ensuring causality and preventing superluminal signaling. Finally, I prove via martingale analysis that standard Born-rule statistics (P=∣Ψ∣2) emerge naturally as a dynamical attractor of the stochastic localization process. QWF provides a mathematically rigorous, falsifiable, and complete resolution to the quantum measurement problem with explicit, testable signatures for modern gravitational wave and optomechanical experiments.
Abstract: The quantum measurement problem has been the deepest conceptual difficulty since the birth of quantum mechanics. Standard quantum mechanics accepts wavefunction collapse as an independent postulate but never provides a physical explanation. The decoherence approach attributes collapse to the interaction between the system and its environment, but faces two fundamental limitations: the “infinite regress” problem and the “insufficiency of decoherence” problem. Within the framework of the Self-Construction Theory (SCT), this paper provides a complete resolution of the measurement problem. The core thesis is that quantum measurement is not a fundamental process independent of the laws of physical evolution, but rather a local manifestation of constructive renormalization—the scale evolution of the spacetime complex field K from microscopic degrees of freedom to macroscopic effective descriptions. The origins of wavefunction collapse, decoherence, and the Born rule receive a unified first‑principles interpretation in this framework. SCT’s spontaneous decoherence mechanism is the key to the resolution. Constructive renormalization inherently involves information loss—the integrated‑out microscopic degrees of freedom no longer exist in the macroscopic effective description. During a measurement, the measuring apparatus possesses a huge number (∼1023) of microscopic degrees of freedom. When the apparatus interacts with the measured system, constructive renormalization triggers information compression of these degrees of freedom—the apparatus can no longer distinguish which branch of the superposition it is in, and quantum coherence is thus spontaneously lost. No “external environment” is needed—the constructive renormalization dynamics of spacetime itself is the ultimate source of decoherence, thereby completely solving the “infinite regress” problem. Among the probability distribution given by the Born rule, the weights of non‑maximal probability branches are further suppressed by information compression under the huge number of microscopic degrees of freedom, so that macroscopic observers can perceive only a definite outcome in the effective description. The information loss caused by constructive renormalization is ontological—it does not rely on any approximation or truncation, thus fundamentally solving the “insufficiency of decoherence” problem. The Born rule—that measurement outcomes occur with probabilities given by the squared amplitudes—is directly derived from the constructive integral structure in SCT. In the constructive renormalization limit, interference terms between different configurations are naturally suppressed by off‑diagonal phase randomization, and the system automatically switches to a classical probabilistic description. In the diagonal density matrix representation, the squared amplitude is the only natural weight that is simultaneously real and non‑negative. Hence the Born rule is not an additional postulate of quantum mechanics but a necessary and unique manifestation of the relative frequencies of the constructive integral in the constructive renormalization limit. This derivation is rigorous within the mathematical framework of constructive renormalization—it does not rely on any approximations or truncations. SCT’s quantum measurement theory is deeply unified with the black hole information paradox. The “collapse” in quantum measurement and the “information loss” in black hole evaporation are different manifestations of the same core mechanism—the redistribution of information due to constructive renormalization—in two extreme physical situations. In quantum measurement, information is redistributed into the degrees of freedom of the macroscopic apparatus; in black hole evaporation, information is redistributed into the time‑point configurations on the horizon. This unification is the strongest proof of the universality of constructive renormalization as an information‑processing mechanism. This paper proposes Causal Bandwidth Reconstruction as a finite-information framework for interpreting physical reality. The central claim is that an observer-like physical system does not access the complete instantaneous state of the universe, but reconstructs an effective reality from causally available information constrained by light-speed delay, channel bandwidth, source capacity, memory, and processing limits. The paper introduces a causal bandwidth bound combining propagation delay, effective information bandwidth, source information capacity, and observer integration capacity. It then defines observer-relative effective reality as a reconstruction map acting on information from the past light cone. Within this framework, classical physical laws are interpreted as stable compression rules: position, velocity, mass, temperature, pressure, rigidity, friction, optical objects, and field values are treated as low-dimensional variables that remain stable after inaccessible microscopic distinctions are removed. The revised version adds a conditional Born-rule stabilization argument. It does not claim to derive the Born rule from light speed alone. Instead, it shows that if stable quantum records form an orthogonal event algebra and the reconstruction map is positive, normalized, additive on orthogonal channels, unitarily invariant, noncontextual, and stable under finite-bandwidth coarse-graining, then Gleason-type reasoning selects the squared Hilbert amplitude as the unique stable record probability. In this interpretation, the Born rule is treated as the probability measure naturally selected by stable finite-bandwidth record reconstruction. The paper also adds testable directions. These include finite-bandwidth delayed-choice quantum eraser experiments, bandwidth-controlled decoherence and record-stabilization studies in macroscopic quantum systems, finite-time Wigner-type record synchronization, and numerical estimates using photon-counting detector bandwidths, sensory bandwidths, and integration capacities. A curved-spacetime extension is outlined by replacing the flat delay r/c with retarded causal time in a general metric and by interpreting horizons as extreme causal-bandwidth boundaries. This work is theoretical and interpretive. It does not replace standard quantum mechanics, relativity, thermodynamics, or statistical mechanics. Rather, it provides a unifying finite-information lens through which classical laws, thermodynamic coarse-graining, optical perception, field descriptions, quantum measurement, Born-rule stabilization, and observer-relative record formation can be understood as different regimes of causal information reconstruction. Interdisciplinary fields crossed by this work include theoretical physics, special relativity, quantum foundations, Born-rule studies, decoherence theory, quantum measurement theory, information theory, Shannon communication theory, statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, black-hole information theory, holographic principle research, philosophy of physics, information geometry, cognitive science of observation, artificial observer theory, AI systems, virtual embodiment studies, and complex-systems modeling.
This paper derives the complete mathematical structure of quantum mechanics—complex Hilbert spaces, unitary evolution, and Born-rule probabilities—from five information-theoretic axioms, without assuming quantum mechanics at the outset. Starting from an ontology of microhistories (fully specified microscopic trajectories), we define branches as equivalence classes of operationally indistinguishable microhistories. We then show that five physically motivated constraints on how information is stored, mixed, and transformed uniquely force the effective state space to be a complex projective space with unitary dynamics.
