Abstract
THE EL-RAKHAWI HETEROGENEOUS COMPUTING FRAMEWORK (EHCF) by Dr. M.K.A. El-Rakhawi (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.23540533) presents a revolutionary post-silicon architecture abandoning monolithic paradigms for specialized heterogeneous computing. Three foundational pillars:1. **Non-Volatile Optical Memory via TFLN**: Achieves true non-volatility through optically induced ferroelectric domain switching and photorefractive effects (not transient Kerr effect), enabling permanent refractive index states without O-E-O conversion. 2. **Hybrid Photonic-Quantum Transistors via Cat Qubits**: Uses bosonic cat qubits as intermediary logical gates with intrinsic bit-flip error protection. High-speed electro-optic modulation (Pockels effect) enables sub-nanosecond switching. Operating at ~10-20 mK, cat qubits reduce error correction overhead from 1000:1 to 10:1, mitigating cryogenic scaling bottlenecks. 3. **Photonic-Native Programming Paradigm (PNPP)**: Variables are qumodes (wavelength, phase, polarization, topological braiding). The compiler translates high-level programs into specific physical voltage configurations applied to integrated TFLN phase shifters and interferometer meshes, tangibly transforming abstract code into concrete hardware states. The heterogeneous stack integrates TFLN photonic acceleration (parallel operations), cat qubit quantum memory (error-protected storage), and electronic control (sequential logic). IP protection excludes natural phenomena per Alice/Myriad precedents, safeguarding only concrete implementations (ferroelectric domain switching architectures, Pockels-effect modulation mechanisms, PNPP compiler voltage configurations), ensuring robust patent eligibility for this post-silicon computing ecosystem.
