Nerik Theory of Conscious Refinement (V4.27 Addendum): A Forward-Invariant Riemannian Bures Gradient Flow with Emergent Interior Attractor on the d=2 Qubit State Manifold
Version 2 (25 October 2026) adds an erratum. The main results of this record check out: the inverse Bures metric, the eigenvalue equation (6), the boundary collar 0 < lambda_min < 0.0564, both tables and the attractor p* = 0.9412018 were reproduced independently. Two steps in the proof text are corrected; the 0.0564 collar is labeled as established numerically (the collar proven analytically in version 3 of the Bures paper is 0.0261); and the weights are labeled as modeling choices, because the results depend on them. Every number in the erratum is printed by the attached script (addendum_d2_checks.py), included with its saved output. Version 1 remains available unchanged. The complete d=2 analysis, with full proofs, is at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23605523 Original description (version 1): We present an exact analytical and numerical analysis of the d=2 qubit reduction and logarithmic boundary barrier dynamics within the Nerik Theory of Conscious Refinement (NTCR V4.27). Through contravariant metric derivation and 50-digit numerical verification, we establish the exact Riemannian Bures eigenvalue velocity equation, superseding earlier heuristic coaxial approximations. By formulating the two-pole structured complexity C(rho) using the smooth Hilbert-Schmidt purity distance B_HS(rho) = 2 Tr((rho - I/2)^2) = r^2 alongside the Bures distance d_B^2(rho, \Pi_*) to the pure boundary projector \Pi_* = |\psi_*><\psi_*| and the von Neumann relative entropy barrier D(rho || I/2) = ln 2 - S(\rho), we eliminate the off-axis 1/sqrt(\lambda_{min}) boundary cusp and remove all ad-hoc coherence penalties and regularization parameters (\epsilon = 0). We prove analytically that: (i) radial Bloch vectors are exact eigenvectors of the 2x2 inverse Bures metric tensor G^{-1} with eigenvalue 1 - r^2 = 4 \lambda_{min} (1 - \lambda_{min}); (ii) d\lambda_{min}/d\tau > 0 holds uniformly across all angles \theta \in [0, 2\pi) inside the boundary collar 0 < \lambda_{min} < 0.0564; and (iii) no off-axis critical points exist anywhere in the full-rank manifold \mathcal{M}_\circ, driving all interior trajectories to the unique emergent interior attractor (p^* = 0.941202, x_c^* = 0, \lambda_{min}^* = 0.058798).

The complete 10-volume codex detailing the Nerik Theory of Conscious Refinement (NTCR). This comprehensive work bridges theoretical physics, quantum mechanics, philosophy, and theology into a single unified field theorem. It formally defines Truth (as quantum relative entropy), Simplicity (as von Neumann entropy), and Love (as quantum mutual information / the H term) as measurable mathematical forces operating on the Bures manifold. Building upon the V4.27 mathematical engine, this codex explores the cosmological arrow of time, the nature of the anti-universe, and the formal geometry of consciousness. Volume X concludes the work by translating the core quantum mechanics into a plain-language companion, offering practical grief recovery and existential clarity. The universe does not delete the art; it routes it.
REM_lambda Version 4 Version 4 presents a corrected numerical implementation of the variational selection framework used in the Relational Emergence Model (REM). The model evaluates candidate Hilbert-space factorisations through competition between informational differentiation and dynamical boundary cost. Φ(F)=ΦS(F)−λCH(F) The informational term is ΦS(F)=I(A:B) and the sign-definite quadratic dynamical cost is CH(F)=Tr(ρH∂F2)=⟨H∂F2⟩ Numerical correction in Version 4 Version 4 corrects two implementation issues in the numerical analysis accompanying REM_lambda Version 3. The discrete-cut implementation previously calculated ⟨H∂F⟩2 instead of the intended quadratic boundary-fluctuation cost ⟨H∂F2⟩ The previous continuous-factorisation routine transformed the state and the full Hamiltonian together, making the dynamical cost invariant under the candidate unitary transformation. Consequently, the Version 3 optimiser effectively maximised mutual information rather than the complete REM functional. Version 4 corrects both issues and recomputes all affected numerical results. Three-qubit XY-chain benchmark The numerical benchmark uses the asymmetric three-qubit XY-chain Hamiltonian H=J12(X1X2+Y1Y2)+J23(X2X3+Y2Y3)+h∑iZi The parameters are J12=1.5,J23=0.6,h=0.2 The ground state is obtained through exact diagonalisation. For the two site-contiguous candidate partitions, the corrected dynamical cost is evaluated as CH=⟨H∂F2⟩ At λ=0.2 the best site-contiguous partition achieves Φ=0.560 The crossover between the information-dominated and dynamics-dominated contiguous partitions remains λ∗≈0.165 Continuous factorisation optimisation For each candidate unitary U, the rotated Hamiltonian is HU=UHU† It is decomposed into local and interaction components: HU=HA(U)+HB(U)+H∂(U) The local components are obtained through partial-trace projection with an identity-component correction. The continuous optimisation evaluates the complete REM functional: Φ(U)=I(A:B)Uψ−λ⟨ψU∣H∂(U)2∣ψU⟩ A search over a four-parameter generator submanifold recovers Φ=1.05 This exceeds the best site-contiguous result: Φ=0.560 The corrected numerical improvement is therefore 0.560→1.05 The previously reported Version 3 result 0.68→1.32 is withdrawn because it was obtained using an incorrect objective function. Factorisation-space dimension The full factorisation space is represented by U(8)/(U(4)⊗U(2)) The tensor-product representation of U(4)×U(2) has a one-dimensional kernel. The effective local-unitary subgroup therefore has dimension 16+4−1=19 Since dimU(8)=64 the quotient manifold has real dimension 64−19=45 The present numerical implementation explores a four-parameter generator submanifold of this 45-dimensional quotient manifold. The recovered factorisation is a higher-scoring solution within the explored submanifold. It is not claimed to be the global optimum over the full factorisation manifold. Finite-size scaling Finite-size calculations were performed for N=3,4,6,8 under weak-center, linear, and step coupling profiles. All finite-size values were recomputed using the corrected quadratic dynamical cost CH=⟨H∂F2⟩ Validation and reproducibility The accompanying reproducibility package includes: exact diagonalisation for asymmetric XY chains; evaluation of site-contiguous candidate cuts; factorisation-dependent reconstruction of the interaction Hamiltonian; continuous optimisation on a four-parameter generator submanifold; finite-size scaling calculations; deterministic benchmark values; 16 automated tests; GitHub Actions continuous integration for Python 3.12 and 3.13. The regression tests verify: exact agreement with ⟨H∂F2⟩; the distinction between ⟨H∂F2⟩ and ⟨H∂F⟩2; factorisation dependence of the reconstructed boundary cost; consistency at the identity transformation; reproduction of corrected benchmark values; successful finite-size and output-generation workflows. Scope Version 4 supersedes the numerical results reported in Version 3. The theoretical REM functional and the use of the sign-definite quadratic boundary-fluctuation cost remain unchanged. We extend the Riemannian Bures gradient-flow analysis of the competing-poles potential Vdyn[ρ] from the d=2 qubit Bloch ball to the 8-dimensional manifold M∘(C3) of full-rank qutrit density matrices. Using the coordinate-free contravariant inverse Bures metric Gρ−1(H)=2(ρH+Hρ)−4Tr(ρH)ρ and the normalized SU(3) Hilbert–Schmidt purity distance BHS(ρ)=21(3Tr(ρ2)−1), we prove the following analytical results without boundary clamping (ϵ=0): Operator Commutation: Every critical point on M∘(Cd) commutes with the reference pure projector Π∗. Orientation Reduction: At fixed spectrum, the non-logarithmic outward eigenvalue pull is strictly increasing in ρ00, reducing the SU(3) boundary-orientation problem to a two-parameter diagonal family. Forward Invariance: The one-sided derivative of λmin(ρ) along the flow is strictly positive on the analytic collar 0<λmin≤6.84×10−5, establishing manifold forward invariance (with sharp numerical threshold λcollar=0.00481018). Transverse Uniqueness: No asymmetric critical points (λ2=λ3) exist despite the transverse potential's concavity. Coaxial Attractor: The coaxial balance equation admits a unique root p∗=0.961593764, λ⊥∗=0.019203118, BHS(ρ∗)=0.888100. Global Convergence: By LaSalle's Invariance Principle, every trajectory initialized in M∘(C3) converges globally to ρ∗. Includes complete standalone Python verification suite (ntcr_d3_verify.py) and rigorous numerical cross-checks across 105 complex starts.
[SYSTEM UPDATE: v3.2.3 RELEASE MATRIX — INCLUDES VISUAL DATA PIPELINES & SENSITIVITY PLOTS] This technical white-paper presents a mathematical closure and operational formalization of the Unified Separation & Refinement Theory (TDCM v3.2.2–v3.2.3) [10.5281/zenodo.19537819]. Modern theoretical anomalies—such as quantum mechanical infinities, dark energy, and decoherence divergences—are demonstrated to be mathematical artifacts ("Pixel-Fixation") introduced by forcing a continuous linear temporal variable into foundational field equations. By executing a surgical time-axis extrapolation via a bijective Fourier-like isomorphism, the Schrodinger, Maxwell, Einstein, and Klein-Gordon equations stabilize into static, highly efficient spatial blueprints embedded within a 5D Scaffold [10.5281/zenodo.19537819]. Reality is re framed as a timeless, completed information ledger inside a 6D Architectural State . Linear time is stripped of its fundamental status and redefined as a localized user interface rendering effect—the transactional update rate (Refresh Rate) of the conscious observer vector (The Chronicler) moving across previous rendered matrix coordinates via the API [10.5281/zenodo.19537819]. Key Mathematical Upgrades in v3.2.3: The Bijective Mapping Operator : Formalization of spectral support boundaries for \, establishing a strict mathematical isomorphysm and proving an empty nullspace . Lipschitz Perturbation Stability: Quantification of the stability constant under background proton-noise , proving that the matrix acts as an intrinsic low-pass filter near the Planck scale. Valvete Energy Conservation: Implementation of discrete Plancherel normalization policies to enforce absolute energy conservation across continuous-to-grid phase transitions. Decentralized Audit Token Consensus: A vector-clock algorithmic proof demonstrating that contradictory observer orderings are mathematically impossible in an append-only static matrix graph. Integrated Visual Empirical Test Cases (New in v3.2.3): Test A : An FFT-based simulation of a 1D/2D Gaussian wave packet demonstrating complex phase and amplitude tracking, with residuals converging strictly below the instrument noise threshold . Test B (Supernova Ia Light Curves & S5 Scaling): A synthetic population pipeline of 100 Type Ia Supernovae distributed across an exponential spatial density gradient. The resulting sweep successfully reproduces the exact cosmological peak-width dilation and color evolution within JWST precision parameters , without requiring dark energy or temporal metric expansion. Appendix Sensitivity Matrix: A two-parameter parametric contour plot mapping against , establishing explicit convergence bands and isolating the mathematical divergence boundary at the Nyquist grid limit . This timeless data ecosystem is governed by the Fractal Least Resistance Law, optimizing all data distribution via structural angles and fractal blueprints to achieve the minimum computational load on the cosmic matrix ledger [10.5281/zenodo.19537819].
EP4-C documents the results of EP4A — a Lindblad Morse Gradient Test on the 3-qubit XXX Heisenberg spin chain using published ibmq_jakarta hardware parameters (T1=119 μs, T2=113 μs) — and identifies a structural consequence extending to the BCS superconductivity experiment (EP5-BCS). Core findings: (1) The Morse correlation dS = λ · D²_B is confirmed at 14.7× signal-to-noise on the Lindblad analytic trajectory. All thresholds were pre-declared before simulation. Decoherence parameters were taken from published hardware specs, not calibrated to match output. The Heisenberg revival F(|110⟩, U(π)|110⟩) = 1.000000 is verified. (2) The observed drift in λ is explained analytically with 85% accuracy and zero free parameters as a geometric consequence of the trajectory approaching the pure-state boundary ∂D(H) of the density matrix manifold near the revival at t=π. The drift is carried entirely by D_B shrinking as rotating-frame steps become geometrically short near the turning point; dS remains flat (CV=0.175). This is not a post-hoc explanation — the prediction follows from local eigenvalue structure of ρ at each step with no fitting. (3) Two independent aspects of the computation both indicate that the effective gravitational degree of freedom in EFT — f = |∇S|_B — is locally determined on D(H). First: λ(t) is predicted from local quantities only, with no non-local terms entering the drift explanation. Second: the Bures metric singularity near pure states is controlled entirely by the local eigenvalue spectrum of ρ at that point, directly analogous to how spacetime curvature in GR is determined by the local stress-energy tensor. (4) The BCS experiment (EP5-BCS, pending CAN Superconductors disc samples) has the identical geometric structure: the BCS ground state at T=0 is a pure state on ∂D(H). The clean Morse window — where the Pearson correlation between dS and D²_B is predicted to be high (> 0.85) and λ to track the zero-parameter geometric prediction — is 0.2 < T/T_c < 0.8, derived from EFT geometry before any BCS measurement. Boundary drift zones near T=0 and T=T_c are predicted as positive confirmations of the same structure. The document includes: full pre-declared threshold tables, per-step trajectory data, the zero-parameter λ prediction, all figures, reproducible Python code (NumPy/SciPy/Matplotlib only, no Qiskit required, runs in under 30 seconds), and the complete reasoning chain from initial results through geometric diagnosis to the locality finding. Reproducibility note and two wording corrections (28 October 2026). The note’s appendix promises check_dissipation_law.py, which version 1 did not carry. It has been written and run: 109 checks, 109 pass, with 53 derived from the C60 adjacency alone, 45 from the stated premises, 6 internal-consistency, 4 Monte-Carlo and 1 using a reconstructed input. The MEASURED set is empty, and that is itself a check: the note’s own flow-position paragraph says it compares no kernel number with measured data, and that was confirmed rather than assumed. Definitions are tagged as such and are never counted as derivations. Every entry of Table 1 and every number in §3, §4, §5.3, §6.1 and §6.2 reproduces. 1. §3.1’s “fails by at least 19%” is a property of one draw, not a bound. On the setup described, the smallest control deviation is 40.6%, so the floor holds there comfortably. But across 500 random cases (25 draws × 5 β × 4 t) the minimum falls to 10.1%, with 0.6% of cases below 19%. The substantive content is far stronger than the stated floor and should be given instead: every one of the 500 control cases exceeds its own KMS error by a factor of 3.5×10¹³ or more. Suggested wording: “fails by factors of 10¹³ or more above the machine-precision residual.” Relatedly, §3.1’s “relative error 3×10⁻¹⁵” is the typical value, not an attainable bound: the median over 500 cases is 3.23×10⁻¹⁵, the 90th percentile 8.1×10⁻¹⁵, the maximum 2.2×10⁻¹³. 2. §6.2’s “Stratonovich simulation” label does not fit the reported figure. The number itself is right — the theory value 19.44 and the closed form are exact and confirmed — but a direct Stratonovich–Heun integral of the locked case carries a large O(dt) bias, because the phase-difference modes relax at rate ~K = 30: dt = 0.002 gives 14.94 and dt = 0.001 gives 17.16, so reaching the reported 0.15% would need dt ≈ 10⁻⁵, far beyond what “N = 6, D = 0.25, K = 30, 400 replicas” implies. The exact Itō form of the same quantity, D⁻¹(⟨ΣFi²⟩ + D⟨∇·F⟩), carries no stochastic-integral bias and gives 19.4651 at dt = 0.001, converging to theory as dt falls. So the estimator, not the result, is what the label misnames. Separately, the ω list is never given, so the printed simulated triple is not reproducible as such; the printed theory triple is internally consistent (24.42 − 19.44 = 4.98 exactly) and is reproduced exactly from a reconstructed ω with mean 0.9 and population variance 0.2075. The note’s “var” is unambiguously the population variance — the identity fails for the sample variance. 3. §1’s “the C60 spectral values 1, 4−φ and φ” is loose on the third. 1 is an eigenvalue of A with multiplicity 9; 4−φ is an eigenvalue of L = 3I − A with multiplicity 5, since 3 − 1/φ = 4 − φ; but φ is an eigenvalue of neither (nearest level 0.0565 away in A, 0.1796 in L). Only −φ is, with multiplicity 5. The note says so itself two paragraphs later, so this is internal looseness of wording rather than a numerical error, and the product identity (4−φ)·φ = 3φ−1 = 3.854101966249685 is exact. Two results are worth naming because they are stronger than stated. Aut(A) ≅ Ih is confirmed structurally, not merely by order: order 120, 31 involutions, centre of order 2 and no element of order 4, which pins A₅ × C₂ and rules out S₅ (25 involutions, trivial centre). And in §6.1 the garbled line is ΔSsys = −TC₁, the total correlation: the system’s entropy falls by exactly the correlation that forms, verified symbolically, with C/8 = H(p₁) exactly — which is why the printed closed form for (E/S)op holds. Ψop was rebuilt from ledger quantities alone, with no A, B or C in it, and agrees with the printed form to 2.5×10⁻¹⁷⁵. A scope and status note on the coherence dissipation law. Separates what the C60 adjacency forces from what it forbids, and states the open-system form that survives after the bare coefficient was retired in the record. The law in every surviving form is posited, not forced, and the paper says so wherever it matters. Includes the two-ledger theorem under stated premises, a no-go result limited to coherence functionals built from the adjacency, and a verification script.
