Quantum Symmetry

Abstract

A two-mode quantum harmonic oscillator is reconstructed from the axiom that a single distinction is the primitive degree of freedom. The construction forces an internal reference witness, Euclidean geometry and a positive irrational remainder \(\delta=\sqrt2-1\). The binary count remains \(I=1\), while its complete account retains the identifying relations and succession that the count alone omits. Symmetry conservation and recoverable closure establish persistence, with a next lawful step always available. Circular closure supplies the exact area increment \(g=(\pi-2)/4\). Its accumulation forces escapement: an additional complete unit is admitted with its witness and origin retained. Applying the primitive construction to this unit supplies the joint Archimedes trammel and its three-dimensional family. The completion event fixes the relative phase and recoverable shadow amplitudes. Subsequent comparisons complete the cell account, whose positive irrational remainder \(\Omega=1-\pi/(3\sqrt2)\) permits further admission. Representing complete accumulated area as squared ladder weight uniquely fixes \(w_n^2=(n+1)g\) and the dimensionless action coefficient \(\hbar_*=g\). Source and child quadratures satisfy the canonical relations on a common invariant domain. At escapement, the completed-unit contribution restores the commutator term missing from the source remainder. The Hamiltonian \(\widehat H_{\mathrm{tick}}=(\pi\hbar_*/2)(\widehat n_\alpha+\widehat n_\beta+\mathrm{Id})\) has a complete discrete spectrum; \(\widehat n_i\) counts oscillator occupations. Its unitary evolution reproduces the trammel's quarter-turn, and an explicit Hermite transform supplies the equivalent Schrödinger representation. The geometric birth comparison becomes an entangled source–child state. Its complete amplitudes and retained context recover the producing account. Each finite generated retained history admits a faithful quantum memory representation satisfying structural record coherence with sequential weak value one.

From the First Bit to the Birth of Time: A Discrete Pre-Geometric Foundation for Quantum Mechanics Through One-, Two-, and Three-Dimensional Stages, Durable Quantum Records, Two Operational Event Clocks, and Record-Controlled Dynamics

Jacob Bulmash

One bit is all it takes to start the universe. Here “one bit” names the initial informational resource under the stated premises, not the theorem’s only assumption. Its two basis values control an explicit isometric preparation into the no-event and event history sectors; composing that preparation with the literal lifecycle gives distinct zero-clock and completed-event outputs, while the canonical bit prior recovers the uniform history law and all printed branch masses. The whole theorem in one line: First informative bit → 1D → 2D → 3D → durable quantum record → two operational event clocks → record-controlled dynamics. This work realizes that complete sequence as one exact theorem, with every stage finite, explicitly typed, and joined to the next. A first informative distinction acquires a one-dimensional relational home; finite events create filled two- and three-dimensional structure; the completed event leaves a persistent completion signal telling WHEN a later operation is eligible and a durable record of WHAT occurred; retained event order produces two noninterchangeable operational clocks, and the durable record controls a later quantum operation whose output statistics depend measurably on that record. The central new result is the exact end-to-end closure of this sequence as one normalized full-history lifecycle across explicitly joined finite carriers, with every firing and nonfiring history retained. To our knowledge, this is the first explicit finite theorem to close that complete conjunction while retaining both event and no-event histories in one normalized lifecycle across explicitly joined finite carriers. Established mathematical tools certify the interfaces; they do not supply the joined lifecycle proved here. Finite GNS canonically represents the commutative event laws; the labelled noncommutative carrier and full finite effect structure are selected inputs, and the Born-trace and CPTP forms follow from the stated consistency hypotheses on that selected base. Under the complete displayed base every lifecycle map is constructed exactly; whether the pre-activation formation equations alone uniquely force the router, fine writer/hold activation, fresh-row preparation, and comparator is a separate upstream parent-forcing problem and is not used by the completed construction. Every implemented map is exhibited, and the archived executable verification suite passes in ordinary and optimized execution and rejects all registered fault-injection controls. The theorem requires no external clock, singular initial datum, continuum-spacetime limiting procedure, postselection, discarded history, or selected-branch renormalization. The dated primary-source search protocol, version pins, screening ledger, and complete-conjunction matrix are archived in `evidence/COMPLETE_CONJUNCTION_LITERATURE_SEARCH_RECEIPT.json`. SI calibration, continuum spacetime, gravity, quantum field theory, and cosmology begin at later layers.

From Relational Distinguishability to the Recurrence of Ticks: A Lean 4–Certified Construction

Ray-Scott Miller

Reconstructions derive quantum theory from operational principles about states, measurements and probabilities. This paper asks what relational distinguishability alone forces before these exist, answering with a machine-checked construction: one admitted unit of distinguishability forces a recurring tick. Its one axiom: existence is relational distinguishability; every later object is generated from it, each numeral a theorem, no parameter is free. Persistence, that the unit remain re-identifiable as the same unit, is a forced standing requirement generated before any runtime succession of actual occurrences exists. Four theorems follow. A persistent closed history must differ from its reversal, forcing three channels. Their transfers generate a discrete internal geometry with residual share Ω = 1 − 𝜋/(3 √ 2). Handed to each owner, that share is carried without erasure while its unresolved account cannot terminate, so its tick recurs with no input of time or scheduling; the residual reaching its threshold posts an escapement, the complete closure that re-identifies it. The process has a fixed direction: records are retained, irrationality makes the residual recover the history, no reverse step licensed. Under interfaces proposed in two appendices, the derived counting structure reproduces, without probabilities, two reconstructions’ counts: quantum theory’s degrees of freedom at dimension three and its elementary system’s parameters. Physical measurement may be available in subsequent work, so long as the construction is specified for its application and quantities are read as dimensionless relations to one chosen standard candle; if that identification fails, the theory as a physical theory fails as a whole.

A Structural Reconstruction of Quantum Mechanics from Symmetry, Normalization, and Coherence Dynamics

Hilmir Frímann Halldórsson, ChatGPT 5.2, Roary (cat)

This work presents an axiomatic and structural reconstruction of core elements of quantum mechanics. Starting from minimal principles — symmetry under vanishing preference, normalization, consistency of probability assignments, and coherence-preserving dynamics — we derive several central features of the quantum formalism rather than postulating them. Key results include: A geometric derivation of the constants 1/21/\sqrt{2}1/2 and 1/21/21/2 from symmetry and normalization. A theorem-level derivation of the Born rule (including the qubit case) from noncontextuality and additivity. A reconstruction of Schrödinger dynamics from reversible norm-preserving structure. A derivation of the tensor-product structure for composite systems from composition axioms and local tomography, with entanglement emerging as a necessary consequence. Formal treatment of Bell–CHSH nonlocality, Tsirelson’s bound, and no-signalling. A conditional reconstruction of complex Hilbert space structure from intrinsic phase dynamics and compositional consistency. The manuscript is self-contained and framed in standard mathematical-physics language. It does not propose modifications to quantum mechanics, but instead clarifies why many of its defining structures arise inevitably from deeper structural constraints. Prior computational and model-based work by the authors (including diagnostic toy models exploring phase locking, coherence stabilization, and recursive-time dynamics) is acknowledged but intentionally not reproduced here, in order to keep the present work focused on axiomatic structure rather than model-specific architecture. This upload is intended as a foundations and reconstruction contribution, suitable for readers interested in the mathematical and conceptual structure of quantum theory.

The Nameless Conjecture: Two Points, Relational Admissibility, and Guidance as a Force

Eric Needham

Why is reality the way it is, when it could have been otherwise? This paper starts from two distinct points. In Euclidean geometry a unique line joins them, but the line is not contained in the distinction: Euclid postulated it. On a sphere, antipodal points are joined by infinitely many lines, and in a disconnected space by none. Distinction does not entail relation. Something must set the rules under which a relation counts as admissible. From this starting point the paper separates possibility, admissibility and instantiation. It distinguishes the admissibility a given theory permits from the deeper question of what fixes the form of admissibility itself. Coherent alternatives to our physical structure exist and can be characterised. The Popescu–Rohrlich correlations, for example, satisfy no-signalling yet are not instantiated in nature. So the laws are not logically necessary. The Nameless Conjecture holds that they are not brute either. They are selected, and what selects them is guidance: a force, the force by which constraint sets the rules of admissibility. Guidance has no bearer. The paper refuses the names that would close the question too early (God, mind, self, consciousness). It is directedness from within, without a separate director. The conjecture is stated as a research programme with explicit symbols (constraint, admissibility, dependency, orientation, closure, reflexivity), a non-smuggling principle, derivation criteria and failure conditions. Three tests follow, each a conditional derivation from declared premises: The two-point problem for phase. Two distinct points do not supply a comparison of their phases. Given the relational premise, that comparison is a U(1) connection. Closure makes the phase group compact, which forces integer charge, and the minimal weight on the first closure, the triangle, converges to the Maxwell action. The quaternionic cell and the ladder of closure. A golden quaternionic cell closes to the 120-element binary icosahedral group and continuously to SU(2). If Born weights compose, the unit groups of the normed division algebras are exactly ℤ₂, U(1) and SU(2), and the ladder stops at the quaternions. Because quaternions do not commute, the resulting force interacts with itself, giving the Yang–Mills action with the commutator term. Orientation and reflexivity. Born positivity forces the orientation of the minimal closure weight toward return. By Lawvere's fixed-point theorem, any structure that represents its own transformations is self-fixing, and no internal representational system can hold a complete account of its own transformations. The tests fix the form of two interactions in their unbroken form and leave the coupling strengths free, the boundary the conjecture predicts. An economy ledger counts five declared givens against eleven structures fixed. The first arrow, from a primitive constraint to admissibility, is identified as the open frontier. Contingency is demonstrated; selection is conjectured. The paper supports the conjecture of The Intentional Field Ontology that guidance is a force underlying all reality, and the author's reading of the universe as self-contained intelligence, labelled as interpretation. Three companion Python scripts verify every test step (15/15, 21/21 and 19/19 checks passed), with controls designed to fail on the inadmissible constructions and a full correction log. Part of the ENSO Framework (Eric Needham Structured Ontology). Developed with AI collaboration: Claude (Anthropic) proposed the three test routes and wrote the companion scripts under the author's direction, and Z0 (ChatGPT) provided hostile review. Full details are in the acknowledgements. For further information about the ENSO Framework, please contact Eric Needham:ensotheory1@gmail.com
