Abstract

The spectrum of the 4He3 and 3He4He2 trimers are studied using the Faddeev differential equations with different realistic potentials. The influence assessment of modern potential models on the binding energies of these systems is studied.

INVESTIGATION OF THREE-ATOMIC CLUSTERS WITHIN FADDEEV EQUATIONS

Elena A. Kolganova, O. P. Klimenko, A. A. Korobitsin +2 more

The binding energies of 4He3 and 4He26Li three-atomic clusters were calculated within the differential Faddeev equations. Obtained results show that different methods provide similar results for different potential models. It is shown that the excited state energy of each system is close to it’s respective two-body threshold, which could indicate on the Efimov nature of the excited state of 4He26Li.

A study of the Efimov states and binding energies of the helium trimer through the Faddeev-coordinate–momentum approach

H. S. Huber, T. K. Lim

A thorough bound state analysis of the helium trimer is made using the Faddeev equations with form factors generated by a modified Kowalski–Feldman approach. The presence of Efimov states is manifested by each of the realistic potentials considered.
