Six frozen interference predictions, independent calibration and a count-preserving memory test \[\mathbf g_*=(1,c_*,2c_*^2-1,c_*^2,1,c_*^2),\qquad c_*=\cos\frac{\pi}{8}.\] Can a retained reference recover interference that two fresh references cannot? This prospective protocol freezes the signed coherence for six histories: null, single, shared forward, fresh forward, shared echo and fresh echo. The forward and echo memory contrasts are respectively minus and plus \(\sin^2(\pi/8)=0.1464466094\ldots\). The paper derives the complete reference-partition map, specifies 24 history/phase settings, preserves every raw attempt including loss, and separates source coefficients from independent apparatus calibration. It fixes a disjoint training sample, 2.4 million validation attempts, simultaneous finite-sample rejection and equivalence criteria, and held-out scores against explicitly declared comparators. A second, independently timestamped laboratory capsule is required before validation data are acquired. What the test establishes. A qualified joint pass validates this QTT optical construction and its reference-memory pattern in the specified apparatus. The matched controlled-unitary quantum-mechanical model predicts the same pattern with the same calibration and no additional fitted parameters. Therefore this benchmark does not distinguish QTT from matched QM or independently establish an absolute clock. Any predictive advantage over a fitted memory-free reduction or history-specific harmonic fit is reported separately. Design-stage preregistration. The deposit includes the full paper, frozen machine-readable predictions, analysis code, independent algebra and mutation checks, synthetic operating checks, and exact reconstruction checksums. No new laboratory result is reported. The earlier 95.76% injected-template retention motivates count-preserving processing; it is neither a natural-signal detection nor an experimental correction factor. QTT source dependency: Balanced-Rail Optical Intertwining Theorem. The necessary mathematics is reproduced here. Related physical reference qualification: Physical-Terminal Reference Framework. A preregistered one- and two-excitation trapped-ion benchmark pη(y∣u)=Tr[Iym,ηum∘⋯∘Iy1,ηu1(ρη)]. One interaction, selected before the data, must predict several observations. This prospective trapped-ion protocol fixes one- and two-excitation time scans, relative-phase scans and an even-curvature null control. It uses 18 contexts, 62 complete raw-count coordinates and 900,000 initiated validation attempts. The same independently constructed contact supplies the time-transfer predictions p10→01=sin2Θ,p11→11=cos2(FΘ). Preparation, detector response, physical insertion class and uncertainty are frozen in a separately timestamped laboratory capsule before acquisition. No validation-fitted exchange frequency, capacity, phase origin or contrast is allowed. Failed attempts and null outcomes remain in the count denominators. A sensitivity gate prevents an unresponsive detector from passing. The finite-sample analysis has separate rejection, equivalence, inconclusive and ineligible decisions. Its total conditional false-rejection budget is 5.7330314376 × 10−7, numerically the conventional two-sided five-sigma tail. This is a design threshold, not a reported discovery. Successful equivalence requires every probability coordinate to meet a five-percentage-point tolerance. Design-stage preregistration. This deposit fixes the test today. Independent apparatus qualification, a public or verifiably escrowed Stage B capsule and new validation observations remain required. The canonical branch is shared with matched microscopic QM; a finite-slot comparison tests only the independently selected physical models. The package includes the protocol, frozen design, count analyzer, synthetic verification, deliberately incomplete laboratory templates and exact checksums. A symmetry-selected pi/8 spinor character and its physical clock test B∗=2Z+X,U∗ZU∗†=B∗,U∗=exp(−J8πY),21TrU∗=cos8π. QTT Balanced-Rail Optical Intertwining Theorem, v1.4. In a normalized, exchange-symmetric two-rail source sector, the positive balanced direction is unique and its shortest centered spinor lift fixes the pi/8 character without a fitted angle. Positive additive capacity supplies its square, while a declared reference interaction supplies the detector coherence. A complete memory-partition theorem gives eleven jointly fixed configurations and four-phase detector predictions. This private research edition preserves the fourteen earlier theorems and adds independent-reference kernel composition, calibrated signal identifiability, and higher-order closure from quadratic capacity. It connects the finite model to measured photon-scattering and internal-clock coherence, and independently recalculates two Bell aggregate statistics from published event totals. All four Shalm pulse windows and all nine Kauten response-correction rows are retained. Verification: 284 mathematical, numerical, synthetic and scope checks, including 235 inherited checks unchanged; 50 separate archival aggregate checks. The reconstruction includes source receipts, both supplied PDFs, complete numerical transcriptions, code, figures, preservation records and three diagnostic review passes. These counts refer to software checks, not independent experiments. Scientific scope: the cited observations support shared optical correlations and calibrated reference-coherence structure. They do not provide a new A1-versus-QM likelihood contrast or a measurement of an unprogrammed absolute-clock terminal. The same deliberately engineered apparatus has the same fixed quantum predictions. The separate physical source-to-apparatus transfer remains the experimentally distinguishing question. Detector calibration, target fitting and signal survival are treated explicitly rather than merged into one category. Author: Ali Attar, Independent Researcher, Colombes, France. From independently qualified work to one interaction and several observations LkerB={0}. When does a device's independently specified work already determine its interaction? In a finite affine constructor, the answer is exact: every unresolved calibration direction must disappear from the observable interaction. The paper proves necessity and sufficiency, constructs a dual certificate, and counts the additional linear probes needed when selection fails. The QTT source-to-contact construction connects geometry, supported work, mode participation and the actual electrode waveform to a single coupling. That same coupling predicts one-excitation transfer, two-excitation redistribution, phase response and parity controls. A finite future-memory theorem identifies what must remain in the retained packet so that later operations cannot reveal something the model discarded. For independently specified insertion magnitudes, the cross-occupation prediction is P11=cos2(FΘ),F2=f2,a2+f2,b2. For symmetric-slot modes, the corresponding frequency ratio obeys (2Ω1Ω2)2=1−2Ka1−2Kb1. Version 2.0 adds complete feasible-set selection, a harmonic three-dimensional drive, unequal-capacity transfer, and the full preparation-to-detector calculation. A cross-Kerr counterexample shows why a perfect one-excitation calibration alone cannot settle the two-excitation prediction. The package contains the manuscript, proofs, executable checks, synthetic examples and a reproducible audit of the public Hou trapped-ion tables. The selection and transfer results are proved within their stated finite classes. The canonical realization shares laboratory probabilities with matched microscopic quantum mechanics; finite-slot discrimination requires independently qualified physical capacities and instruments. The archive is a retrospective eligibility audit. The separate prospective test commits the measurement design before a laboratory supplies its physical capsule. A quantum clock can follow two proper-time histories. Can one completed coherence also distinguish two physical reference classes? Quantum-clock interferometry already supplies the standard carrier relation Δϕclock=ω0Δτ. This preregistration keeps that relation intact and asks a separate question. The same atomic transition and path geometry are executed through four physical input/output terminal histories, ττ,τT,Tτ,TT. For each history and reversed proper-time geometry, the laboratory fits the first complex clock-coherence phasor and forms Dab=∣Zab+Zab−∣. The registered reference-switch statistic is Rqc,clk=N×ord1DττDTTDτTDTτ. After a target-blind ordinary cross-history map, the fixed prospective fork is Hordinary:Rqc,clk=1,HQTT−A1:Rqc,clk=cos(8π). The alternatives differ by 7.6120467%. A bare five-standard-deviation separation requires σ(Rqc,clk)≤0.0152241, and the recommended design target is 0.005. The proper-time phase is a common carrier check, not the A1 discriminator. The release includes three adversarial audits. It requires a physical hardware graph for the T and τ terminal classes, derives the readout exponent from a first complex phasor, and qualifies preparation and calibration by their physical transfer, not by angle alone. A target-inserting primary operation or target-trained correction remains ineligible. Any failed eligibility gate returns INELIGIBLE_NO_THEORY_VERDICT rather than a false rejection of A1. Scientific status: theorem and estimator closed; carrier technology plausible; physical four-terminal hardware map and laboratory dataset pending. No existing quantum-clock record is claimed as A1 evidence. Version 1.1: operation qualification and retained observations The numerical targets, ratio orientation, decision regions and historical seals are unchanged. A 22.5-degree or 45-degree component is no longer excluded by its angle alone: its physical transfer must be independently established. Common-operation cancellation and signal-preserving calibration are proved; both hypotheses must remain identifiable. Every acquired record is retained. After authorized unblinding, QTT-like, ordinary-like and unexpected outcomes are reported, including observations that do not qualify for a theory verdict. This is a prospective amendment, not a retrospective resealing of data. Clock, ruler and signal-recovery qualification. Both registered predictions are constructed at the raw detector with explicit proper-time, coordinate-time, worldline, ruler and synchronization conventions. Each relativistic effect is counted once. Independently calibrated corrections carry their uncertainties through the common comparison; the tested rows cannot train a normalization that forces either answer. Blind recovery is required separately for both alternatives at every predeclared operating setting. The inherited targets and decision rules remain fixed. The included design study makes sensitivity explicit: for the Two-Test Gram classifier, a total ratio uncertainty of 0.0013 gives approximately 88.9% QTT-branch and 94.1% ordinary-branch power under the stated ideal model. These are conditional detection probabilities, not probabilities that a theory is true, and each instrument retains its own classifier. The complete apparatus packet must be sealed before acquisition and target access; historical campaign rules remain preserved. Reconstruction entry point. Erase the apparent carrier. Recover the qubit from its halo. Then ask a different clock. This preregistration separates an ordinary quantum-memory qualification from a distinct timing test. Test A evolves a logical qubit through a frozen local channel, physically resets its original carrier, and asks whether a finite surrounding window can recover it. Test B asks whether that independently reconstructed channel fidelity controls a separate timing-covariance frontier. Test A: where is the recoverable channel? Ri(ω)=∣0⟩⟨0∣i⊗Triω,Qdel=2Favg(Ndel,id)−1,Fedel=41+3Qdel. Target-only and every smaller halo subwindow remain optimized counterfactuals. A physical reset, sham reset, hidden-record injection, boundary ladder, and complete terminal record are required before the recovery layer qualifies. Test B: does the memory verifier intertwine with an independent timing projector? W†MeW=Palign,ηT=Tr(ρPalign),UT⋆=inf2detΣTΩ. On the certified canonical branch, the sealed QTT target is ηT=Fedel,UT⋆=1−Fedel. No complement coefficient is fitted. Five fidelity corridors, a radius/depth ladder, one-third untouched holdouts, topology twins, full covariance, global five-sigma decisions, at least 95% planned power, and transfer to a second record technology are frozen before data. The external computation is a feasibility anchor, not the timing target An, Cao, and Cui report carrier-deletion recovery in a local kicked-Ising memory. Their result qualifies the plausibility of Test A. Their reported Q=0.516 is explicitly forbidden from constructing Test B. The public source archive lacks the exact arrays and scripts, so exact replication remains pending. A timing signature is not physics until its reference operator survives a representation audit. CV⋆=FR2,UT⋆=1−FR2,CV⋆+UT⋆=1 This framework separates three objects that must not be merged: a completed historical event, the record support still accessible to a laboratory, and a separately calibrated timing observable. Standard quantum theory closes the optimized coherent-recovery envelope. QTT adds a distinct, falsifiable timing complement only after a physical intertwining certificate proves that the laboratory record operator and the central timing projector are the same physical object in two representations. A public 11,009-trace test of explanatory burden Version 1.4 executes the complete usable public archive associated with Gosling et al., Probing the memory of a superconducting qubit environment. Every trace is split chronologically into training, a discarded guard interval, and held-out testing. The ordinary one-TLS Solomon camera learns two rates per trace, while the memoryless comparator learns one. median(RMSE0RMSE0−RMSETLS)=0.36015,P(TLSwins)=11,00910,169=0.92370 The fitted TLS camera is therefore a successful held-out effective model. Its resolved trajectory is not a parameter-free derivation: the values of Γq and Γqt are learned from each target-bearing trace's training segment. Version 1.4 makes that distinction machine-auditable through the target-fit burden vector BM=(Nc,Nd,Nw,Nn,Nu,Nh),BM=0⟹the fitted output is not derived parameter-free. The QTT result A public QTT source statement from 12 November 2025, before the Gosling preprint, already required complete reset to erase distributed record support beyond the visible carrier. That statement contains no Gosling-fitted rate, hidden-mode count, target window, or trajectory coefficient. The resulting comparative verdict is QTT-ZERO-FIT-SOURCE-EXPLANATORY-VICTORY/TRAJECTORY-VERDICT-OPEN. This is a scientific victory at the source/ontology layer, not a claim that QTT has already predicted the same resolved qubit trajectory. The stronger same-observable verdict remains locked because the public archive does not independently provide the residual record fidelity Fres, leakage diagnostic D, timing complement UT, or physical intertwiner W. The paper prints the exact next experiment that would close or falsify that bridge. Reproducibility 11,009 row-level held-out results are included. The 840 traces favoring or tying the memoryless camera are retained. No false significance is assigned to correlated sweep windows. All three official archive objects pass their published MD5 checks. The release verifier passes 30/30 scientific and provenance checks. Three adversarial reviews cover observable equality, leakage and selection, chronology, and claim scope.
