Abstract

We present a mathematically structured framework connecting the non-local Bohmiandynamics living in the 3N-dimensional configuration space to local 4D spacetime geodesics. Our construction uses the Bogoliubov–Kubo–Mori metric induced by the Araki relative entropy. We explicitly derive the general relativistic Jacobi metric from first principles andcompare it with the effective single-particle Jacobi metric obtained from the BKM/Fishergeometry after a controlled coarse-graining of the environmental degrees of freedom. Thecorrespondence is stated as a physical principle rather than as a theorem. We prove a 1Dweak-field reduction and discuss the origin of the light cone, the role of the quantum potential, the violation and restoration of the equivalence principle, and the open analyticalproblems that remain.

Emergent Quantum Dynamics and Finite-Cutoff Area Quantization from Araki–BKM Information Geometry Information-Geometric Foundations of Quantum Dynamics and Emergent Geometry

Iraklis Margaritis

We unify two emergent aspects of quantum theory within a single information-geometricframework based on the Araki relative entropy and the associated Bogoliubov–Kubo–Mori(BKM) metric on a von Neumann algebra state manifold.First, we show that in the commutative reduction to a spatial density subalgebra, theBKM metric becomes the classical Fisher information metric. Its trace gives, after a singlenormalization choice, the expectation value of the Bohmian quantum potential, and thecorresponding Bohmian trajectories arise as Jacobi geodesics of a conformally related metric. The guidance equation is then recovered from the polar decomposition of states satisfyingthe emergent Schr¨odinger equation.Second, we show that the modular flow of the reference state yields the Heisenbergand von Neumann equations, and that the physical Schr¨odinger equation follows under astandard unitary state implementation. In the finite regulated K¨ahler sector, geometricprequantization of the BKM state manifold leads to a discrete horizon area spectrum and touncertainty relations, with an induced gravitational coupling derived from the Seeley–DeWittcoefficient [1].No continuum limit is taken, and no identification with the observed Newton constantis assumed. The results exhibit a common information-geometric framework for Bohmianmechanics, quantum dynamics, and emergent gravitational structures.

Quantum Optimal Transport and the Gravitational Metric: Collected Papers (GFI Programme)

David Gogishvili

This document presents a synthesis of research within the "Geometry from Information" (GFI) programme, specifically focusing on Paper 18 and Paper 27. We establish that the Bogoliubov-Kubo-Mori (BKM) metric is the Hessian of relative entropy within the quantum Wasserstein-2 geometry (W_{2}^{Q}) at the de Sitter point. The work demonstrates that the locality of the BKM metric is a consequence of the W_{2}^{Q} geodesic structure. Additionally, it explores the equivalence between the Island formula extremization and W_{2}^{Q}-optimal partitioning, providing a quantum Type II_{\infty} analogue to the Mondino-Suhr theory.

From Quantum Geometry to Emergent Gravity

Salim Yasmineh

We develop a complete geometric framework in which each quantum particle possesses its own private spacetime—a world-block—constructed from Fermi–Walker coordinates. The intrinsic spatial metric on each proper-time slice is a dynamical field governed by an action with a universal stiffness constant A0. A single world-block exhibits kinematic non-locality: the metric perturbation at a point depends on the entire wavefunction through an integral relation, while maintaining dynamic locality via causal wave equations. This duality captures the essential non-locality of quantum mechanics without violating relativistic causality. When two particles interact, their world-blocks are stitched along a common boundary, forming a single compound world-block in ordinary four-dimensional spacetime. The stitching imposes local matching conditions that yield a non-separable strain field, providing a geometric account of quantum entanglement. Measurements correspond to fixing boundary conditions on one part of the compound block; the correlated outcome on the distant part is automatically determined by the shared global geometry, not by any superluminal signal. Thus, the apparent non-locality of EPR correlations is explained as a manifestation of geometric connectivity within a single 4D manifold, consistent with Bell’s theorem because the geometry itself is non-local. In the continuum limit of many overlapping blocks, coarse-graining restores an effective local description, and Newton’s law of universal gravitation emerges exactly, with Newton’s constant given by G = 3c4/(8πA0). The model offers a unified, deterministic, and fully relativistic foundation for quantum mechanics and gravity, without invoking extra dimensions or stochastic elements. Experimental signatures in ultrafast interferometry and possible connections to dark energy are discussed. The framework aligns with recent developments in emergent gravity and provides a concrete geometric realization of spacetime from quantum entanglement.

entropy_geometric_dimension_informational_metric

Addisu Alemsefa

This work proposes a theoretical framework in which entropy is treated as a geometric degree of freedom in an extended quantum state space. By introducing a resolution parameter defined as the inverse of von Neumann entropy, an informational metric is constructed on the space of density matrices. Within this framework, a causal structure emerges from a null condition on the metric, defining a light-cone-like boundary for the propagation of quantum correlations. Entanglement propagation is derived and shown to depend on entropy evolution, leading to a dynamical causal structure. In the near-equilibrium limit, the model reproduces a Lieb–Robinson-type bound with finite correlation speed. Connections to holography are established by interpreting entropy as a radial coordinate controlling scale, and an analogue of the Ryu–Takayanagi relation is derived, where entropy corresponds to the length of minimal curves in the informational geometry. Black hole horizons are interpreted as maximal entropy surfaces corresponding to a collapse of distinguishability in quantum state space. The framework suggests that spacetime geometry, causality, and gravitational behavior may emerge from entropy-weighted quantum information structure. This work is an independent theoretical exploration aimed at providing a unified perspective linking quantum information, geometry, and gravity.

Quantum information geometry of driven CFTs

Jan De Boer A, Victor Godet, Jani Kastikainen +1 more

A bstract Driven quantum systems exhibit a large variety of interesting and sometimes exotic phenomena. Of particular interest are driven conformal field theories (CFTs) which describe quantum many-body systems at criticality. In this paper, we develop both a spacetime and a quantum information geometry perspective on driven 2d CFTs. We show that for a large class of driving protocols the theories admit an alternative but equivalent formulation in terms of a CFT defined on a spacetime with a time-dependent metric. We prove this equivalence both in the operator formulation as well as in the path integral description of the theory. A complementary quantum information geometric perspective for driven 2d CFTs employs the so-called Bogoliubov-Kubo-Mori (BKM) metric, which is the counterpart of the Fisher metric of classical information theory, and which is obtained from a perturbative expansion of relative entropy. We compute the BKM metric for the universal sector of Virasoro excitations of a thermal state, which captures a large class of driving protocols, and find it to be a useful tool to classify and characterize different types of driving. For Möbius driving by the SL(2 , ℝ) subgroup, the BKM metric becomes the hyperbolic metric on the disk. We show how the non-trivial dynamics of Floquet driven CFTs is encoded in the BKM geometry via Möbius transformations. This allows us to identify ergodic and non-ergodic regimes in the driving. We also explain how holographic driven CFTs are dual to driven BTZ black holes with evolving horizons. The deformation of the black hole horizon towards and away from the asymptotic boundary provides a holographic understanding of heating and cooling in Floquet CFTs.

Certified Causality, Locality, and Relativity as Finite-Resource Spacetime Readout in the Einstein-Locked Optimal-Transport/GKSL Framework

Gwenolé Bocquet

Pedagogical Guide, Foundations Audit, Uniqueness & Substitutability Analysis, Literature Comparison, and Reading Guidance : A Pedagogical Guide to Understanding the OT–GKSL Architecture This work develops a certified-domain theory of causality, locality, nonlocality, and relativistic frame covariance within the Einstein-locked optimal-transport/GKSL framework for open quantum systems. The native theory is formulated as an open-system dynamics on a finite effective spectral stratum, without assuming a primitive classical spacetime, Lorentzian metric, causal cone structure, or global relativity principle. Classical causal semantics is reconstructed only at readout level. A rank-four operational record map selects a horizontal sector of the native state manifold, while local sections and an independent soldering calibration define the physical coframe, Lorentzian readout metric, temporal orientation, and local causal cones. Record rank is therefore distinguished from physical coframe nondegeneracy, native entropic ordering from calibrated classical time, and bridge control from observable or dynamical causality. Certified locality is formulated on four-dimensional readout patches rather than on arbitrary neighborhoods of the higher-dimensional state space. Local causal preorders are then constructed from the section-induced Lorentzian geometry. The paper separates this kinematic result from stronger claims concerning microcausality, signal propagation, stable causality, or global hyperbolicity. Patchwise consistency is analyzed through proper orthochronous frame transformations, bridge-compatible transition laws, and triple-overlap cocycle conditions. Under exact compatibility assumptions, the local metric, cone field, and minimal causal preorder descend coherently across the certified atlas. Under defect-controlled compatibility, causal classification remains valid only for directions sufficiently separated from the null boundary. The paper also distinguishes native nonlocality, readout nonlocality, local certification failure, overlap or cocycle failure, global causal pathology, and propagation-level failure. These notions are shown to be logically and operationally inequivalent. Finally, under explicit coercivity, mixed-sector, spectral-regularity, and finite-budget assumptions, a conditional causal-local solvability theorem constrains calibrated temporal precision together with the local, bridge, spectral, orientation, overlap, and cocycle certification margins. The resulting framework identifies a finite corridor in which causal-local and relativistic readout semantics remains certifiable. Its failure suspends the classical causal interpretation without implying a breakdown of the native OT/GKSL dynamics or a state-dependent deformation of the Einstein–Hilbert kinetic sector. 1.
