The Lunet Hypothesis: A Spectral Entity of Light Beyond Wave and Photon

Abstract

This work proposes the Lunet (plural: Lunets) as a fundamental spectral entity of light—a hypothesis for further investigation. We suggest that light may be neither a wave nor a quantum particle (photon), but a spectral entity that manifests as either depending on its degree of spectral coherence. The photon is proposed as a quantum manifestation (energy quantum) of the Lunet in a low-coherence state, while the wave is its high-coherence manifestation. This proposal is grounded in the ZPIF-USAC-ZZFZ framework, which derives spectral interactions from the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. If validated, this framework could open new directions in solar energy, laser technology, medicine, quantum computing, space propulsion, and environmental technology. This is a theoretical proposal intended to stimulate discussion and further investigation.

A Spectral Coherence Framework for Light: The Lunet Hypothesis and Its Implications for Wave-Particle Duality

eng ebrahem

Abstract This work proposes the Lunet as a theoretical spectral entity of light, offering a potential resolution to the wave-particle duality problem. We suggest that light may be understood as a spectral entity whose manifestation as either a wave or a particle depends on its degree of spectral coherence. The photon is interpreted as a quantum manifestation (energy quantum) of the Lunet in a low-coherence state, while the wave corresponds to its high-coherence manifestation. This proposal is grounded in the ZPIF-USAC-ZZFZ framework, which derives spectral interactions from the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. If validated, this framework could open new directions in solar energy, laser technology, ultra-precision medicine, quantum computing, and space propulsion. This is a theoretical proposal intended to stimulate discussion and further investigation.

The Lunet and the Lunec: A New Spectral Paradigm for Wave-Particle Duality

Ebrahim E. Elsayed

This work proposes The Lunet and The Lunec as the foundational elements of a spectral framework that integrates the Zero Pairs Interaction Functional, Unified Spectral Alignment and Coherence, and Zigzag Zero–Fractional Zero (ZPIF-USAC-ZZFZ) framework. This framework introduces the Lunet, a new spectral entity of light. It is neither a wave nor a quantum particle, but a spectral entity whose manifestation depends on its degree of spectral coherence (C). When C → 1, it appears as a wave. When C → 0, it appears as a photon. This proposal offers a potential resolution to the century-old wave-particle duality. The Lunec (Lunet Emission Coherence) is introduced as a theoretical device, supported by numerical simulations and mathematical models, with a proposed experimental protocol for future verification. Unlike conventional lasers, which rely on stimulated emission, the Lunec operates on the principle of spectral coherence, where the degree of coherence determines the manifestation of the emitted beam. When C → 1, the Lunec would emit a full-spectrum coherent beam, achieving an efficiency of up to 99%, far exceeding the Shockley-Queisser limit of 33.7%.The framework is grounded in the ZPIF-USAC-ZZFZ framework, which derives spectral interactions from the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. Numerical simulations using the first 10,000 non-trivial zeta zeros confirm the convergence of the framework and the predicted behavior of the Lunet and Lunec. This is a theoretical proposal intended to stimulate discussion and further investigation.

The Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec: A Proposed Spectral Framework for Wave-Particle Duality

Ebrahim E. Elsayed

This work proposes, as a theoretical hypothesis for further investigation, the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec as the foundational elements of a spectral framework that integrates the Zero Pairs Interaction Functional, Unified Spectral Alignment and Coherence, and Zigzag Zero–Fractional Zero (ZPIF-USAC-ZZFZ) framework. We propose, as a theoretical hypothesis, that the Lunet is a new spectral entity of light. It is neither a wave nor a quantum particle, but a spectral entity whose manifestation depends on its degree of spectral coherence (C). When C → 1, it appears as a wave. When C → 0, it appears as a photon. We further hypothesize, as a theoretical proposal for further investigation, the existence of a hypothetical intermediate entity, which we term the Noret, that may mediate the transition between the Lunet and the photon. We propose that the transition from the Lunet to the photon may not be instantaneous, but could involve a finite time delay τ. This prediction could be tested experimentally using femtosecond interferometry. This is a hypothesis, not a claim, and requires experimental validation. The Lunec (Lunet Emission Coherence) is proposed, as a theoretical hypothesis, as a device that may produce a spectral coherent emission from the Lunet. Unlike conventional lasers, which rely on stimulated emission, the Lunec is proposed to operate on the principle of spectral coherence. When C → 1, the Lunec could emit a full-spectrum coherent beam, potentially achieving an efficiency exceeding the Shockley-Queisser limit of 33.7%.Numerical simulations using the first 10,000 non-trivial zeta zeros are presented to illustrate the convergence of the framework and the predicted behavior of the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec. This is a theoretical proposal intended to stimulate discussion and further investigation.

Coherence-Dependent Coupling in Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics: A Spectral Framework with the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec

Ebrahim E. Elsayed

This work introduces, as a theoretical hypothesis for further investigation, a spectral framework for cavity quantum electrodynamics (cavity QED) based on three foundational entities: the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec. These entities were introduced within the Lunetics paradigm, which integrates ten foundational spectral entities into a single coherent system: the Sifri, the Lunet, the Lumin, the Noret, the Lunec, the Tunnels, the Aura, the Pulse, the Cycle, and the Lunetics itself. The proposed framework describes the interaction of the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec with a quantized cavity mode. Unlike conventional cavity QED models, which treat the atom as a two-level system with a fixed coupling constant, the proposed framework treats the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec as three coupled spectral entities with coherence-dependent coupling constants. The coupling constants \( g_{\text{LN}}(C) \), \( g_{\text{NL}}(C) \), and \( g_{\text{LNL}}(C) \) are proposed to depend on the spectral coherence $C$, which is the governing principle of the Lunetics framework. The framework is grounded in the Zero Pairs Interaction Functional, Unified Spectral Alignment and Coherence, and Zigzag Zero--Fractional Zero (ZPIF-USAC-ZZFZ) framework, which derives spectral interactions from the non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function. Advanced mathematical formulations are presented, including the Spectral Cavity Hamiltonian, the coherence-dependent coupling constants, the dressed states of the Lunet, the Lunet-Noret-Lunec dressed states, the Rabi oscillations of the Lunet, the coherence-dependent Rabi frequency, the Lunet-Noret-Lunec entanglement, the Lunet-Noret-Lunec blockade, and the Lunet-Noret-Lunec polariton. Numerical simulations using the first 1,000 non-trivial zeta zeros illustrate the convergence of the proposed framework. Six new figures are presented to visualize the behavior of the framework.

Coherence-Dependent Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics: A Spectral Model with the Lunet, the Noret, and the Lunec

Ebrahim E. Elsayed

The Zero Pairs Interaction Functional (ZPIF) framework is introduced as a spectral approach to prime distribution, based on three key concepts: spectral orbits, zero mirrors, and an imaginary complement. The non-trivial zeros of the Riemann zeta function are found to follow closed spectral orbits with well-defined phase angles, indicating an underlying order in prime distribution. A notable mirror symmetry is observed: every zero γn has a counterpart γN+1−n such that the sum of their fractional parts is approximately 1. This symmetry holds under logarithmic and inverse transformations. The framework accounts for the stability of prime gaps and the coherence of zero interactions without external regulation. Numerical simulations with 10,000 zeros confirm the model's convergence and stability.
