Abstract

This paper proposes a novel distributed key agreement protocol leveraging the unique properties of quantum entanglement. The core concept involves two parties sharing a pre-established entangled state, performing correlated measurements, and directly using the measurement outcomes to generate a shared secret key. This eliminates the need for classical communication channels, significantly enhancing security by mitigating the risk of eavesdropping during key transmission and reducing latency associated with classical message exchange. The protocol addresses key challenges in entanglement-based systems, namely maintaining entanglement fidelity and ensuring synchronized measurement processing. We outline the theoretical framework, detailing the mathematical formulation of the key generation process and highlighting the critical aspects of entanglement distribution and measurement protocols. This approach represents a fundamental shift in distributed key agreement, moving towards inherently secure and efficient quantum communication systems.

Quantum Entanglement-Based Distributed Key Generation Protocol

Jincheng Zhang

This paper presents a novel protocol for distributed key generation (DKG) leveraging quantum entanglement. The core claim is to demonstrate the secure and efficient generation of a shared secret key among multiple parties using the unique properties of entangled quantum states. The protocol utilizes a specifically designed entangled state shared between the participating nodes. This shared state facilitates the synchronous generation of keys across the distributed network. The key innovation lies in the enhanced security provided by the fundamental laws of quantum mechanics, eliminating the vulnerabilities inherent in classical DKG protocols susceptible to eavesdropping attacks. Furthermore, the protocol aims to improve key generation efficiency by utilizing the inherent correlations present within the entangled state. We detail the mathematical formulation of the protocol, including the state preparation, entanglement distribution, and key extraction phases. The proposed approach offers a promising direction for secure communication in quantum networks.

Based on Quantum Entanglement Key Agreement Protocol

Jincheng Zhang

This paper presents a novel key agreement protocol leveraging the principles of quantum entanglement. The protocol, termed the "Quantum Entanglement Key Agreement Protocol" (QEKAP), aims to establish a shared secret key between two parties, Alice and Bob, without relying on classical communication channels for key exchange. The core of the protocol utilizes entangled photon pairs to generate correlated random keys, followed by the application of quantum error correction codes to mitigate the effects of noise and ensure accurate key transmission. We demonstrate the feasibility of this approach and highlight its potential advantages over traditional key exchange methods, specifically addressing vulnerabilities associated with eavesdropping and man-in-the-middle attacks. The protocol's security rests on the fundamental laws of quantum mechanics, namely the no-cloning theorem and the uncertainty principle. The key parameters influencing the protocol's performance, such as entanglement fidelity and the overhead introduced by the quantum error correction scheme, are analyzed. Simulation results indicate that QEKAP provides a robust and secure solution for key distribution in quantum networks.

##基于量子纠缠的分布式密钥生成协议

Jincheng Zhang

This paper proposes a novel distributed key generation (DKG) protocol leveraging the principles of quantum entanglement. Traditional DKG protocols often rely on classical cryptographic techniques, introducing vulnerabilities to sophisticated attacks. Our protocol utilizes entangled photon pairs to establish a shared secret key between multiple parties without any prior secret sharing. The core mechanism involves the creation of an entangled state and subsequent measurements performed by the participants. The correlations inherent in quantum entanglement allow for the derivation of a shared key, guaranteeing security against eavesdropping attempts. We formally define the protocol, outlining the key parameters and security assumptions. The presented system offers a potentially more secure alternative to existing DKG methods, particularly against adversaries with access to classical communication channels. We explore the protocol's mathematical foundations, detailing the process of key generation and emphasizing the inherent security provided by the laws of quantum mechanics. This work provides a theoretical framework for a future, practical implementation of a quantum-secured DKG system.
