Distributed Proof Verification via Quantum Game Theory
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
This paper proposes a novel approach to mathematical proof verification leveraging quantum game theory. Traditional proof verification methods are often computationally intensive and susceptible to errors, particularly with complex proofs. We introduce a distributed verification system where multiple agents, each with limited computational resources, collaboratively verify a proof by participating in a quantum game. The game's rules are designed to incentivize truthful reporting of verification outcomes, enhancing system robustness. Our core claim is that utilizing quantum game theory can dramatically improve scalability and resilience in proof verification. We formalize the game mechanics, detailing the state space, transition probabilities, and reward structure. This approach offers a potentially transformative solution for ensuring mathematical rigor and trust in complex derivations. The theoretical framework presented here provides a foundation for future research and development in this area.
