Abstract

Quantum computing promises revolutionary computational capabilities, but inherent fragility necessitates robust error correction. Current error mitigation techniques, while valuable, often struggle to fully address the diverse range of error types and their impact. This paper proposes a novel quantum error mitigation technique, Quantum Error Mitigation via Adaptive Wavefunction Prioritization (QEMP), that dynamically prioritizes error correction based on measurement data. We develop a probabilistic model to estimate error rates and assign weights to different measurement outcomes, effectively focusing on correcting the most impactful errors. This approach offers a significant advancement over existing methods, providing a more targeted and potentially more effective strategy for mitigating quantum errors.

Algorithmic Quantum Error Mitigation via Wavefunction Reconstruction

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum computing holds immense promise, but its susceptibility to errors presents a significant challenge. Traditional error correction techniques struggle with the inherent complexity of quantum systems. This paper proposes a novel algorithmic quantum error mitigation strategy centered around wavefunction reconstruction, a dynamic adaptation process that actively compensates for errors as they are detected. We introduce a method that iteratively reconstructs the quantum state, utilizing a sophisticated dynamic parameter adjustment based on the quantum system's evolving dynamics. This approach offers improved resilience compared to existing methods, potentially achieving greater error correction rates with a more efficient resource utilization. The core mechanism hinges on a continuous, adaptive process of wavefunction reconstruction, minimizing the impact of errors without requiring extensive overhead.

Title: Quantum Error Mitigation via Adaptive Bias Correction

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum computing holds immense promise for complex computations far exceeding the capabilities of classical computers. However, current quantum hardware suffers from inherent errors, which can severely limit the performance of these systems. Quantum error mitigation (QEM) techniques aim to detect and correct these errors, but they often require significant calibration and can be computationally demanding. This paper proposes a novel quantum error mitigation strategy employing an adaptive bias correction mechanism. Our approach dynamically adjusts bias correction parameters based on the observed error rate, minimizing the impact of errors on computation while maintaining high accuracy. We introduce a 'adaptive bias profile' algorithm that continuously monitors error patterns and optimizes correction strength to achieve optimal error reduction. This innovative strategy offers a more robust and adaptable approach to QEM, potentially reducing the need for extensive calibration and improving overall system performance. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method in mitigating errors across a range of quantum algorithms, showcasing its potential to significantly enhance the practical usability of quantum computation.
