Abstract

Quantum-Enhanced Constraint Satisfaction with Wavefunction Collapse is a novel approach to solving constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) that leverages the principles of quantum mechanics, specifically wavefunction collapse, to accelerate the search for optimal solutions. Traditional CSP solvers often struggle with large, complex problem instances due to the exponential nature of exhaustive search. This paper proposes a framework utilizing quantum annealing to efficiently explore the solution space, collapsing quantum wavefunctions to reveal optimal configurations. We demonstrate, through simulations and analysis, that this method significantly reduces the computational cost and improves solution quality compared to classical approaches, particularly for instances exhibiting complex constraints.
