Abstract

Quantum error correction is a critical component of quantum computing, enabling the reliable storage and manipulation of quantum information. Current quantum error correction codes, however, often rely on pre-defined parameters that may not optimally adapt to the specific characteristics of the quantum system being protected. This paper introduces a novel self-adaptive quantum error correction algorithm, designed to dynamically adjust error correction parameters based on the quantum system's inherent properties. We propose a quantum optimization algorithm that iteratively refines these parameters, leading to improved fidelity, stability, and overall performance. This work represents a significant advancement in error correction, offering a potential pathway towards more robust and versatile quantum systems.

Quantum Error Correction Codes: An Adaptive Optimization Algorithm

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum error correction is a crucial aspect of quantum computing, enabling the reliable transmission and manipulation of quantum information. Traditional methods often rely on fixed parameter optimization, which struggles to adapt to the inherent variability of quantum systems. This paper introduces a novel self-adaptive optimization algorithm designed to dynamically adjust quantum error correction code parameters based on input data entropy changes, thereby significantly enhancing the code's performance and robustness. We propose a method that leverages the inherent dynamics of quantum states to optimize the code's parameters in real-time, offering a potential pathway to overcome limitations of traditional approaches. The core mechanism centers around a feedback loop that continuously assesses the error rate and adjusts the code's parameters to minimize this error.
