Abstract

This paper introduces a novel approach to information theory, leveraging quantum entanglement entropy as a fundamental measure of information. We propose that entanglement entropy can effectively quantify the efficiency of information transmission and provides a theoretical foundation that surpasses the limitations of classical information theory. The core of this work lies in the integration of entanglement entropy with Shannon entropy, establishing a new framework for analyzing information transfer. We explore scenarios where classical information theory struggles to adequately describe the limits of communication due to quantum mechanical effects, specifically entanglement. The paper aims to provide a theoretical underpinning for quantum communication protocols and potentially inform the development of quantum computation. We define key terms and formulate core concepts, focusing on the relationship between entanglement entropy, information content, and the constraints imposed by quantum mechanics. The central argument is that by considering the inherent interconnectedness of entangled systems, we can gain a deeper understanding of information processing at the most fundamental level. ---

Quantum Entanglement Entropy Information Theory (QEIH)

Jincheng Zhang

This paper introduces Quantum Entanglement Entropy Information Theory (QEIH), a novel framework for quantifying and analyzing quantum information transmission based on the fundamental role of quantum entanglement. The core claim of QEIH is that entanglement entropy can serve as a new unit of information, surpassing the limitations of traditional information entropy (Shannon entropy) and offering a more precise measure of quantum information. We posit that entangled quantum systems can be viewed as distributed information sources and propose a method for calculating quantum information transmission efficiency and capacity using entanglement entropy. This approach establishes a new information theory framework specifically tailored to the unique properties of quantum mechanics. The key contribution lies in recognizing entanglement not merely as a correlation but as the foundational element driving information processing within quantum systems, ultimately leading to a more accurate and insightful understanding of quantum communication and computation. The presented framework offers a potential pathway to optimizing quantum information transfer and exploring novel information processing paradigms.

Quantum Entanglement Entropy Compression

Jincheng Zhang

This paper proposes a novel approach to entropy compression leveraging the unique properties of quantum entanglement. We demonstrate that, through the careful design of entangled states, it is possible to achieve compression rates exceeding those predicted by the classical Shannon limit. The core mechanism relies on encoding information within the quantum state distribution of an entangled state and exploiting the non-classical correlations inherent in entanglement for efficient probability distribution compression. Unlike traditional entropy compression methods which rely on statistical properties of classical information, our approach directly utilizes the correlations provided by entanglement, offering a fundamentally different strategy. We formulate the theoretical framework, outlining the key mathematical concepts and presenting a detailed analysis of the compression process. The central argument is that entanglement allows for a more effective representation of information than is possible with purely classical distributions, leading to a demonstrable advantage in compression. This work challenges the conventional understanding of entropy and compression, suggesting a new paradigm where quantum phenomena can be harnessed to surpass classical limitations. The presented model incorporates the concepts of entropy, entanglement entropy, and quantum state tomography to provide a comprehensive framework for this novel compression technique. The theoretical foundation is built upon the principles of quantum information theory, with a particular focus on the role of entanglement in information processing and storage. ---

Quantum Entanglement Entropy Coding

Jincheng Zhang

This paper presents a novel approach to entropy coding leveraging the unique properties of quantum entanglement. Traditional information theory, governed by Shannon's theorem, establishes a fundamental limit on data compression. However, quantum entanglement offers the potential to surpass this limit by encoding information within the correlated states of entangled particles. We propose a method termed "Entanglement Entropy Coding" (EEC), which utilizes specifically designed entangled states to represent data. The core principle involves encoding information into the coherence of one entangled particle, which instantaneously influences the coherence of its entangled partner. This mechanism allows for a more efficient representation of data than classical methods. We demonstrate a theoretical framework for EEC, outlining the key mathematical relationships and potential improvements over existing entropy coding techniques. The paper focuses on the theoretical underpinnings of the method, providing a foundational understanding for future research and development. The primary objective is to establish a new paradigm in data compression, exploiting the non-classical correlations inherent in quantum mechanics. The proposed method aims to achieve compression ratios exceeding those predicted by classical information theory, demonstrating the transformative potential of quantum entanglement. The key equations and concepts are presented for clarity and reproducibility.
