Abstract

Quantum computing promises revolutionary computational capabilities, but its inherent fragility necessitates robust error mitigation strategies. Conventional error correction schemes often fall short, struggling to effectively address the complex noise patterns within quantum systems. This paper proposes a novel method for quantum error mitigation centered around the design of a specifically tailored non-Gaussian noise distribution. We hypothesize that this distribution, by actively suppressing errors, can significantly enhance the fidelity of quantum computations. The core mechanism focuses on leveraging the non-Gaussian characteristics of the noise to create a more resilient and effective error correction process. This work presents a preliminary investigation into the potential benefits of this approach and outlines a pathway toward future advancements in quantum error mitigation.
