Abstract

This paper presents a novel approach to distributed anomaly detection leveraging the unique properties of quantum entanglement. Traditional anomaly detection methods often struggle with hidden anomalies and are vulnerable to network attacks and noise. Our proposed mechanism utilizes multiple quantum nodes interconnected through entangled states. These nodes perform quantum measurements and encode the results into the entangled qubits. Anomalous behavior disrupts the entangled state, leading to detectable changes. By analyzing these changes, we can achieve enhanced detection accuracy and robustness against interference. This approach offers a fundamentally different paradigm for anomaly detection, exploiting quantum mechanics for superior performance. The core claim is to design a new mechanism using quantum entanglement to detect hidden anomalies in networks. The core mechanism involves interconnected quantum nodes through entangled states, quantum measurements, and analysis of entangled state changes to identify anomalies. This research represents a significant step towards utilizing quantum technologies for enhanced security and reliability in distributed systems. ---

Quantum Anomaly Detection via Entanglement Decoherence in Distributed Systems

Jincheng Zhang

This paper proposes a novel approach to distributed anomaly detection leveraging the principles of quantum entanglement and decoherence. Traditional anomaly detection methods often struggle in distributed environments due to their centralized nature. This research introduces a system where a network of quantum sensors, governed by entanglement, is utilized to monitor and detect deviations from normal behavior. The core idea involves measuring the decoherence rates of entangled sensor pairs, which are intrinsically sensitive to disturbances and changes in the system. These decoherence rates are then processed through machine learning algorithms to classify events as normal or anomalous. The system's distributed architecture allows for real-time detection without relying on a central server, offering improved resilience and scalability. The theoretical framework and key components of this system are presented, highlighting the potential for significant advancements in anomaly detection across various distributed systems, including sensor networks, industrial control systems, and cybersecurity applications. The system's effectiveness relies on the precise quantification of quantum decoherence, which is a key challenge and a central focus of this work. We outline a methodology for analyzing the measured decoherence data and demonstrate the feasibility of utilizing this information for robust anomaly detection.

Quantum Entanglement-Based Distributed Data Verification

Jincheng Zhang

This paper proposes a novel approach to distributed data verification leveraging the unique properties of quantum entanglement. The core claim is that a highly secure distributed data verification system can be achieved without the need for shared keys, even when individual nodes are compromised. The proposed mechanism involves constructing a network of multiple quantum processors, each storing a portion of the data. Utilizing entangled states, real-time verification of relationships between data blocks is performed, and any detected alteration is immediately flagged. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols based on entangled states serve as the underlying communication foundation. This approach fundamentally differs from existing distributed data verification methods, which rely on key exchange and are therefore vulnerable to key compromise. The inherent principles of quantum mechanics provide a stronger security guarantee, theoretically offering superior resistance to attacks. This system aims to establish a robust and secure data integrity framework in scenarios demanding high levels of trust and protection against malicious manipulation.
