Abstract

Quantum annealing, a quantum computing paradigm, offers potential for accelerating computationally intensive problems like constraint satisfaction. This paper explores the integration of quantum annealing with dynamic relaxation to tackle complex constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) with high-dimensional constraints. We propose a novel hybrid approach where quantum annealing is used to efficiently explore the solution space, followed by dynamic relaxation to refine the solution and improve its quality. The core mechanism centers around leveraging the quantum annealing's ability to find near-optimal solutions, coupled with the dynamic relaxation's capability to iteratively improve the solution's precision. This research aims to address the limitations of traditional CSP solvers and provides a promising avenue for enhancing performance in challenging scenarios.

Title: Quantum-Enhanced Constraint Satisfaction Problem Solving with Hybrid Search

Jincheng Zhang

Quantum annealing is a promising approach to solving constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) due to its potential to escape local optima and explore the solution space more efficiently. However, traditional CSP solvers often struggle with highly complex, multi-variable problems. This paper investigates a novel hybrid search strategy that integrates quantum annealing with a modified CSP solver, leveraging quantum tunneling to accelerate the search process. We demonstrate that this approach significantly improves the speed and accuracy of solving complex CSPs compared to existing methods. The core mechanism involves combining quantum annealing with a dynamically adjusted CSP solver to effectively manage the high dimensionality of the problem. This work presents a new framework for tackling challenging CSPs with enhanced search capabilities.

Quantum-Enhanced Constraint Satisfaction with Adaptive Relaxation

Jincheng Zhang

This paper explores the application of quantum annealing to optimize constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs). Traditional CSP solvers often struggle with finding optimal solutions, particularly in large and complex instances, necessitating a significant computational cost. We propose a novel quantum algorithm, the Quantum Relaxation Network (QRN), designed to dynamically adjust the relaxation of constraints during the search process. This adaptive approach promises to improve solution quality and reduce computational complexity, offering a significant advancement over existing techniques. We detail the QRN's architecture, the underlying quantum annealing process, and its potential impact on CSP solving. The core claim is that this quantum algorithm will demonstrably enhance solution quality, particularly for challenging CSP instances, offering a viable path toward more efficient and robust CSP solvers.
