Multi-Modal Coherence-Based Information Encoding
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
This paper proposes a novel approach to information encoding that transcends the limitations of single-mode quantum states. It leverages the inherent coherence within multi-mode quantum systems for robust and high-fidelity information storage and transmission. The core idea centers around precisely controlling the coherence time and phase relationships between multiple modes, enabling significantly higher information density compared to conventional methods. We introduce a new framework for quantum state design and encoding, specifically tailored to exploit multi-modal coherence. The theoretical framework presented here demonstrates the potential for achieving unprecedented levels of information storage and transmission by harnessing the complex correlations present in multi-modal quantum systems. The key advancements lie in recognizing and utilizing the intrinsic coherence present in multi-mode systems, leading to a fundamental shift in how quantum information is encoded. This work lays the groundwork for future research into advanced quantum information processing technologies.
