Abstract
Quantum topology, a rapidly emerging field, offers a fundamentally new approach to cryptography by exploiting the inherent fragility of topological structures. This paper investigates the potential of quantum topology for creating a robust and secure cipher system. We present a novel cryptographic protocol centered around the exploitation of quantum entanglement, utilizing the unique properties of topological spaces to ensure enhanced resilience against various attacks. The core mechanism involves constructing a key distribution and decryption protocol that leverages the sensitivity of topological landscapes to maintain security. This work aims to establish a quantum-enhanced cipher that surpasses current cryptographic methods through a fundamentally different approach to security. The study will focus on the mathematical underpinnings of topological cryptography and demonstrate the practical application of this approach, particularly through a detailed analysis of the protocol's security properties and resilience against known attacks. Furthermore, the paper will discuss potential challenges and future research directions within this rapidly evolving area.
