Quantum Information Storage and Retrieval: Topological Optimization
Jincheng Zhang
Abstract
Quantum information storage and retrieval represent a significant challenge and opportunity for advancing quantum technology. Traditional methods often focus on the physical properties of qubits, while a novel approach – topological optimization – offers the potential to dramatically enhance both storage and retrieval efficiency while simultaneously bolstering security. This paper explores the application of topological optimization principles to quantum information systems, focusing on the design of novel qubit architectures and retrieval algorithms that leverage the inherent robustness of topological states. We investigate how manipulating the topology of a qubit system can fundamentally alter its performance, leading to substantial improvements in both data density and error correction capabilities. The research delves into specific optimization strategies, including the creation of topological circuits and the implementation of adaptive error mitigation techniques. The ultimate goal is to establish a framework for quantum information storage and retrieval systems that are both highly reliable and computationally efficient.
