Abstract

Quantum computing offers tremendous potential for scientific discovery and technological advancement, but significant challenges remain regarding its scalability and efficiency. Quantum error correction is a critical bottleneck, necessitating efficient algorithms and techniques to mitigate the effects of noise. This paper explores the application of adaptive topology transformations (ATT) to quantum computation, aiming to reduce quantum error rates and thereby enhance computational efficiency. We propose a novel ATT algorithm that dynamically adjusts transformation parameters based on the current state of the quantum system, optimizing the quantum circuit for reduced error correction effort. The study demonstrates significant improvements in error rate reduction compared to standard techniques, suggesting a promising avenue for accelerating quantum information processing. Furthermore, this work provides a framework for tailoring topology transformations to specific quantum algorithms, offering a tailored solution for optimizing quantum computation.
