Abstract

This paper investigates the application of quantum mechanics to constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) through a novel dynamic topology approach. Classical CSPs often face limitations in exploring a sufficient range of solutions, hindering efficiency. We propose a quantum framework where the system's topology dynamically adjusts to identify optimal solutions, enabling parallel exploration of multiple paths. This approach aims to overcome the static nature of classical algorithms, potentially leading to substantial improvements in problem-solving speed and effectiveness. The core mechanism leverages a quantum state representation that evolves based on the problem constraints, dynamically modifying the system's topology to guide the search process. This work presents a theoretical framework and preliminary simulations demonstrating the efficacy of this dynamic topology quantum CSP algorithm.
