Abstract

Quantum topology optimization (QTO) is a novel approach to designing and optimizing quantum systems by leveraging the inherent topology of quantum systems to guide parameter adjustments. This paper explores the development of a quantum optimization algorithm, termed "Adaptive Quantum Topology Optimization" (AQTO), that dynamically adapts to the system's topology, enabling efficient parameter tuning and improved results. We introduce a novel 'dynamic topology map' that iteratively refines the system's topology based on the optimization process, ensuring optimal performance. The benefits of this algorithm, including enhanced flexibility, robustness, and the potential for discovering novel solutions, are discussed. The paper concludes with a detailed explanation of the AQTO algorithm, its mathematical formulation, and preliminary experimental results demonstrating its effectiveness.
