Abstract

This paper introduces a novel approach to constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) solving leveraging quantum-inspired search strategies. We propose a new CSP solver architecture that incorporates Grover's algorithm to accelerate the search for optimal solutions, addressing the limitations of classical CSP solvers in handling large instances. The system's design focuses on enhancing the exploration of the solution space, thereby increasing efficiency and scalability. The core claim is that this quantum-inspired approach will significantly improve the performance of solving complex CSPs, particularly those characterized by large state spaces. We present a detailed architecture, discuss the implementation details, and evaluate the algorithm's performance through simulations and preliminary experiments.
